    In my theological pursuits, as well in this present time of inflation, and increased cost, I have heard allot of men talking about "magical thinking'"....and though it is truly an important reality that we must be aware of, i have heard little contrast with true biblical faith, and what is needed to lay hold of the promises God has made to fulfill individual and corporate purpose. I felt inclined to look into resources that would had been needed to fund Jesus' family and ministry, and I thought about the gifts of the magi....this led me to this teaching. Thank you for the balance and in-depth studies that help so many of us who are holding on to what God has said in light of very hard times.

    Pastor Rick, thanks for clearing up where our prosperity should come from. It should come from our Father in Heaven. I can except this kind of prosperity. And Jesus is the perfect example for us to look to, to understand the gift of prosperity. In our loves. Thanks!

      If you read the text carefully it's referring to in His eternal exsistence before Bethlehem 2 cor.9:8 There is no scriptual support that
      Joseph of Arimathea was related to Mary or Jesus. We must be good Bereans, God Bless

    It was a great message. Can you send me the reference that Joseph of Arimathea is Mary's uncle - just for the purpose of my study. Thanks

      Many spurious stories and legends have arisen regarding Joseph. Some purport that Joseph of Arimathea was the uncle of Jesus’ mother, Mary. However, the Bible makes no such connection, so the claim is unsubstantiated.

    "December star" is showing up tomorrow evening in the south west skies. Not sure if it was the same star correlation, but it would definitely be a spectacle that is appropriate for the season.

    Wonderful. I am still amazed as to why king Herod with all the machinery was not able to trace the route the magi took when locating where Mary Joseph and the child were. Is it that God blinded their minds?

    With those expensive gifts, were they used differently instead of raising the family in wealth? Joseph remained a carpenter until his death and Jesus was called the son of a carpenter in Matthew 13:55.

    • @annchovey2089
      @annchovey2089 Год назад +1

      Jesus was not a carpenter. He was a stone mason. The English who interpreted King James Version had never been to England and assumed he was a carpenter but there was no buildable wood in Israel which is why Solomon floated down wood (the cedars of Lebanon) to build his temple.

    Jesus became poor, because He the eternal God clothed Himself with flesh, thus Eph.1:3 we are blessed with every spiritual blessing. etc..
