    Before Umrah:
Extra piece of ihram in your hand luggage along with your prayer book
Intake Vitamin C daily and vitamin pills to strengthen your immune system
Walk 20 min daily if you're not used to being active
Make a copy of all your documents: visa, passport etc.
Travel insurance because the treatments in Saudia Arabia are expensive
Learn the janaza prayer in advance
Learn basic Arabic words such as hi, calm down, where is this and where is that
Make a prayer books with all your duas organised
    During umrah:
Pack a light bag: prayer book, prayer math, water bottle, small first aid kit, snacks, energy tablets
Try and pray in the first two rows of the semi circle right next to the Kaaba. The reward is as praying in the Kaaba
Make a train with your family members i.e. hold on to each others shoulders so you don't get lost
Agree on a meeting point if anyone gets lost
Perform the umrah after maghreb and before fajr
    General tips:
Pack some imodium in your bag
Eat from hotels and food courts so you don't get ill
Exchange money in shopping malls, its cheaper
Bring a foldable chair so you can sit and pray in the disabled wheel chair area
    Free library from the library
    Do your shopping in Madina
Give charity to the poor and people in need.

Exciting tho! 1st April not far Mashallah! Congratulations!
Also don't be nervous travelling with baby it will be absolutely fine and such an amazing experience.

Asalaamualikum. I went in February with 3 children Alhamdulillah. My 18 month old was a handful during jamaat but I got a wheelchair for them all to sit in and that really helped because they don't let pushchairs in. Take lots of snacks and things to entertain them while you prey.
Also nappies, change them before you get to Masjid.

      w salaam,
It wasn't too bad as I made sure he stayed in his routine so he didn't really feel the difference so that was really helpful. Inshallah you will be absolutely fine. I look back now and I am so glad I was able to do it with him when I can take care of him and inshallah get double rewards :)
I pray your trip goes well and your umrah is accepted! x

    • @MariumHanif

W Salaam, None of my family or anyone in our group had any problems with iPhone in the haram however Saudi do change the goal post every now and again... However I personally would just take it along as no one has ever said anything to us all the times we have been. WS

Why not just do wudhu in the masjid restrooms? why go back to the hotel or use a water bottle instead?

    • @MariumHanif
      @MariumHanif  4 года назад

the masjid rest rooms are not the most hygienic ones and they tend to be blocked up or very full so to save time and to make sure you can focus and do your kudu properly for me it was best to do it in the hotel.

Very nice on your part to do this video. It's definitely very informative. Just wondering why there was so much of mentioning of Indians, Pakistani and Bangladeshi in particular? Gives out a biased and judgemental side of yours.

    • @shumiali754
      @shumiali754 Год назад

It's not biased. It's familiarity ie. South Asians are frequently around one's circle in Uk more than say...Turks, Indonesians, French etc

Jazak Allahu khairen for your video. for the sake of Allah I ask you to stop wearing makeup and plucking your eyebrows. Allah curses the one who plucks and gets plucked and the Qur'an tell us not to adorn ourselves. Makeup is adorning ourselves and is the behaviour of the disbelievers to adorn themselves in public.

Gifts for only men? Women are not allowed to see the graves? Pak/ind goes last? YA Allah reham. Such discrimination by the saudi government lol they must be thinking that they own the ka'aba and everything 😅
