He's not doing any pattern with the bass drum and the left foot is not doing a pattern anywhere as complicated as the hands. Still impressive but it's definitely not 4x this pattern.
Each of your limbs does have its own brain. It just takes thousands of hours of practice to teach those brains to do things without the need for your main brain to tell them to. People never realise our brain isn’t only in our heads. We have a distributed nervous system, with smaller and smaller brains all the way down to our appendages. Which is why you’re not thinking of all the minute steps when walking to a cup and picking it up, without spilling water. Your hand does most of the picking up for itself, while your arm is stabilising the whole exercise and your legs are keeping you upright. If all that came from your brain, you’d fall down in a puddle of water 😂 Sorry for the wall of text, hope this helps 😅

It’s funny you mentioned that. My best friend just bought me a Roland TD-1 earlier this year. We practice at his house, and my set of drums are there. We live about 1.5 hrs away from one another, so I have no way to play drums during the week, just on practice days (which are fewer and fewer recently). He noticed my struggle and bought me and electronic kit so I can practice in my apartment any time I want. I’ve never had an e-kit, this is my first. There were plenty of cheaper models for retail, but he knew thru me that Roland seems to be the best. No second thoughts, he saw the TD-1 and the price and bought it that same day. I’m still kinda mind blown about it, every time I sit down to play I think of him. Thank you Kyle. You are truly the best man.

There are so many "best drummers", it just depends on the category: fastest, most accurate, most technical, best polyrhythms, most creative, best fill-ins. Estepario is a beast, but in terms of speed and accuracy, compare him to the drummer of Archspire.
@@silentgrey8429this guy has it all man he really is the best drummer in the world
Admit it, you don't know a lot of drummers.
I am a percussionist and have been for 45 years. I’m not primarily a set drummer - more “legit” guy (if you’re a drummer you know that isn’t derogatory 😜) but as a percussionist I play of course and have an in depth knowledge of how it’s all achieved. This dude is incredible. Some of his videos border on the supernatural.
Supernatural, SuPerSoNic Entity from the 5D! ❤
What's so amazing about this is that even though it's a mind killer for the drummer, the listener can still vibe incredibly easily!
I'm pretty sure it goes without saying, but I'm sure your teacher is insanely proud of you
This man is the most dedicated, inspired, obsessed, and talented drummer I've had ever seen!
The independence each limbs have is just😩
When I was young, I could kick off the beat like no problem! Especially having a drum kit was very helpful. God bless you, man. I am glad that you’ve kept it going now. If I get behind the drum kit, I have no idea what I’m doing?? Like l😮😊
If I have 4 grand to drop on a drum kit someday, I will by my friend a drum kit. I could learn myself buuuuutt everyone already doesn't like me soooo I'll just watch you, possibly the best drummer ever.
I drummed in a metal band when I was younger. My parents helped me out with a kit. I can only just afford my 11 year old son drum lessons. I wish I was able to drop 4 grand on his kit. even just a cheap electric kit.
if you could help your friend.... please help him.
if I could afford one my son would have one. sharing is caring
@@AdyDelaney2222 I agree and that is very nice, Thank you. If I can, I will. I just have that difficulty doing things in steps, but that's what Im working on.
@@AdyDelaney2222there’s plenty of cheap kits out there. Look harder.
Dam ur too good
Believe he is the best drummer!
And now my favorite drummer has taught me this!
My brain is hurting just trying to understand the coordination required to play drums !
90% of drummers only use one foot. This is exponentially more difficult.
Thats really cool that your drum teacher was a sadist 🤣🤘
..did he kick baby animals as well?
🤣🤣
This guy is killing it❤

It's crazy, 1 of many exercises I've seen, no wonder why excellent drummers priceless
Shows you what can be achieved with serious dedication and practice 👏🏼👏🏼
I can’t even pat my head and rub my stomach at the same time, you’re like a superhero lol I love watching you 😅✌🏻
I can't drum to save my life, but my husband and I watch your videos every night. I even bought him one of your shirts for his birthday! We love your content!! 🥳
Incredible. As always.
My children love your videos and want to learn drums thanks to you !
Incredible 😮
Just how.. again. Dude is incredible.
Brother you are the Best Drums in the World 💯💪🤝
I think he’s the most exciting drummer to hit the scene in years. Incredible skills and technique.
@@Barefoot_JoeI think if he joined an actual band he would do incredible, but he also does most of his stuff to show off what he CAN do, not what he WOULD do, ya know?
He is in a band....
Here we are 6 months later, 3 songs released, one with Serj from SOAD. Band is called The Cost, and the first song released he actually underplayed, and it served the song perfectly. Second song, Into the Drone he went buck wild… and it still served the song perfectly!
Human machine is this genius guy!!! ❤👏👏
