What an (perfect) autumn day to join others on their outings to various parks and festivities in the city on a Saturday. Plenty of memorable photo opportunities for young and old, family members, friends, or selfies. I think the tree with the most beautiful fall foliage felt a bit neglected today (3:06). Magpies are spunky, noisy, and nosy too (26:11). Surely enjoyed the extra attention you gave her. Walking up those stairs would seem not only a good exercise but also penance for whatever bad deed committed! Thank you, I'll take the bus. And the market, small glimpses how people interact, enjoy an off day, buy or not buy, check things and others out, a feast for my eyes too. Just like the sudden appearance of these two attractive red Chinese-looking lanterns (44:54), like twins. One couldn't take one away and not feel bad. A great autumn day. As always thank you. That couple that ran across at 1:35.....something seemed off about the whole time they appeared, maybe it was just me but something felt a little uncomfortable with their interactions. Apart from that great video, oh how I was I was experiencing it in real life not through the screen! Thanks for these continued vids!
The recipient doesn't receive the prize for just one book, but the body of work the recipient has written over the years. In the west, The Vegetarian (English book title) made Han Kang known to a wider reading audience outside South Korea. It's not an "easy book" to read. Han Kang has received several literary prizes before the Nobel for Literature.
