This comment is intended to show your kids that even a year after you posted it, it continues to inspire people. I will take some of your tips and begin to implement them. Thanks.

Your videos are inspiring and have finally got me following a training program, buying a smart trainer and just getting active and enthused again. Thanks for getting this 49year old off the couch and feeling in charge.

Been binge watching your videos from the start and this one really hit home. The planning the week on the rest day really makes a lot of sense. I will start to put this into practice as I wait to heal up from shoulder surgery. Start making the routine before the routine can happen kind of thing. (PS feel free to rub this comment in your kids face a year after the video even came out! (=)

Thank You, Mark!!! This is perfect!!! I always do my weekly planning on sundays, but I think of shifting it to monday, becouse monday is bike and back and walk day, and after active weekend I allways feel tired. 6:00 am for planning on mondays seems like a bless to me! Thank You! Binge watching Your videos while have a free minute in commute/while eating 🥰

Commenting partially to rub it in your kids' faces (Lol). Also to let you know that you've been so inspiring to me. I'm close to 100kg these days bc I'm 8 months pregnant, but I'm determined not to give up my fitness just bc I'm not winning every race. I've been riding Zwift 3-4 days a week with your videos playing in the background. It's always so encouraging to see someone I consider to be in such great shape achieving realistic results. I don't feel like the only person in the world who's not winning every race or beating every record ever. Keep it up! Cheers!

Another really useful insight into the life of an ultra-runner/business man/family man etc
Although my training (mostly Erging/running and general stuff) is miniscule by comparison AND I'm single, with a simple world to manage, I have taken a lot away from this. Great stuff.
Incidentally, you mentioned stealing the kids chocolate bars ... reminds me that as a kid (Eons ago, as I'm 60 next month!), I'd be accused (by Mum) of stealing all the Bourbons from the biscuit tin. "Who else could it be?", She'd demand. Years later, Dad confessed that he'd taken them, and would quietly chuckle at the grief I was getting. Fair enough though, he worked 70 hours/week, on the docks (in Hull), and would squeeze the bit of time left at the remainder of the weekend, to do DIY etc ... so think he earned those Bourbons 🤣🤣

70hrs a week on the docks - that man deserved every bourbon he could get his hands on 😂
