I grew up in Roswell and we used to party in the silos when I was in high school. Considering how drunk and drugged up we usually were, it’s a goddamned miracle none of us ever got killed in those death traps
Going down those stairs with the "dance music" reminds me of a few bars in Binghamton, NY that are no longer there.....One was called "The Groove" and the other "The Carlton"....The Groove in particular was in the basement of The Binghamton Press Building.....it was all black painted and you danced in the pits where the printing presses were...and you could find lots of hidden rooms down there, they made GREAT Long Island Ice Teas!!! NOTHING was at code! Thanks for this tour, that place is not bad at all!!! Was this a new find? Did you just buy it? That appears to be a EZ Fix!
My buddy Nik is in the middle of renovating a Titan 1 silo in Bennett, CO (Right next to DIA). It's a MASSIVE undertaking. I think you might have it a bit easier there in NM since you don't have the snow to contend with. His channel is Nuclear Bunker Living... you might enjoy it.
Gary as you were entering and the walls were blackened, was this soot from a fire? What would be the best way to clean it.. I noticed the Titan 1 site at Chico is the same way...
Yes, many fires from visitors have caused this problem. What we have done is clean the walls with soap and water, then prepped for a sealer/undercoat, then several coats of paint. Hope this helps.
@@GarySiloManBaker Gary I was the guy that contacted you several years ago about the Chico site and about that time I started having trouble with my email.. I was waiting on an inheritance to be finalized and then I would like to start looking for a Titan 1 site, but I thought I'd wait till everything was done before wasting your time with tons of questions... p.s. I listen to you and Bryce all the time, thx for your help..
hey nice! if you want some company to go down those scary tunnels, im in roswell. hmu! i was just planning on making a trip around myself. find one thats easily assessable in case nuclear war or whatever.

Plus, I just found my dad’s (Wade Orsak) name spray painted on a wall in your video. Who knew dad was a vandal?!
We did the same, but in the silo's surrounding Abilene, Texas back in the late 80's and early 90's.
I stopped to check this silo out, once. I was there ten minutes and a Chavez county sheriff's deputy arrived and told me I had to leave.
This was EXCELLENT! Enjoyed every minute of it!
Excellent video.
I really enjoy touring these sites.
Keep em coming!
Thanks for your kind words. Have another nearly 40 minutes coming of just the Silo. 🚀👽👍
Man that is a dangerous place to wander around if you are very cautious! Thanks for the tour
Absolutely... it's NOT for the faint at heart.
Thanks for your comment. 😛🚀👽
Great video Gary!
Thanks...👍🚀👽
Looks like it’s in great shape! No water & very little rust.
Absolutely...👍

This Site will most likely be my last Atlas F... looking at a start date of later summer.
Thanks for watching...👍🚀👽

Make sure they don't catch you trespassing and through you in jail.
Would be nice if took time to research and give information
Good Grief, let's go a LOT easier on the Music. I found this a lot more interesting without your selections. Maybe a little narration would help.
...interesting EVERYONE else liked the music. 👍🚀👽
