It got so bad they were living in LA's notorious Nickerson Gardens projects while touring, and doing tv shows like Soul Train, etc. Until a manager convinced the record labe that it would be wisel to get them up out of there.
Check out the behind the music doc because I never heard of them. I don't think they were known in the UK in the seventies. I'm only 51 so I may be wrong.What happened to Olympia was sad.
