they get along very well, they were once pretty much glued to each other. Check the lore, read the manhua, ect. They still work together.

If you didn't know already In the Monstadt Archon quest when Jean And Diluc in the Tavern Diluc said he contacted two people from the Knights of Favonius. Jean and Kaeya. Kaeya made the Knights focus on a different matter

@@rinki2073 無想の一太刀って花袋を雷元素で攻撃するか元素攻撃を何回か当てるで割れるんですけどこの2人だとどうやってもスキルではバリア破壊が間に合わないんですね 元素爆発の無敵時間での回避も無想の一太刀の直前は元素エネルギーが自動的にゼロになるので使えません なので親父さんはガイアの爆発を元素エネルギーがゼロになる直前に使用して爆発を展開させて花袋を割ってます(ガイアの爆発は多段ヒットだから花袋を割ることが可能) 自分では思いつかなかった回避方法なので凄い驚いたってことですね

They're so perfect for each other. Kaeya's icicles stay with Diluc and give him great melting reaction. And they are among the first characters, so f2p can easily get and build them. Truly a perfect duo!

They are! During Diluc's quest I had a lot of fun playing the both of them as a tag team, they work great together. My C3 Kae is ready to go but now I'm waiting for batman, it's been a year already lol

Not with Diluc and Kaeya out here facing down the world bosses like double dragons. I would love a little mini campaign questline where you have a top spec'd trial version of these two (really just diluc) having to work together on a solo mission to unravel some kind of mystery and stop a great threat.

In a way they both got their revenge, Kaeya gets to beat up an archon (for all he knows Ei was part of destroying Khanri’ah) and Diluc gets to beat up a Fatui harbinger

I've actually used Kaeya since I started the game. He is currently at C4, I've always wanted a Diluc but at AR 53 I still have not one and if ever he really comes home I'd be happy to put them together.
Maybe if you're lucky you can get all standard Banner chars even as a F2P like my main acc all it took was 2 years and being kinda lucky
just started playing last month and I currently have C2 Kaeya (my main) and C1 Diluc out of sheer luck. I want to build Diluc too but I don't have a good weapon for him sadly.
Let me tell you a secret: I mostly wish on standard banner, and got each of their constellations by wishing inside their mansion (Dawn Winery). Sit at the table. Last time I wished, I only want Kaeya's constellation in mind but got Diluc instead 🙃
