Tyrese its your job as the leader of the team to get everyone focused.
You didnt take charge. Dont criticize your teammates you abandoned them out there to fend for themselves. Be a leader.
The fact that we lack heart against a team missing 3/4 starters…..I mean that falls on leadership…..Haliburton doesn’t want to be the guy….we went on a 7min scoring drought and Haliburton didn’t demand the ball not one time…… Haliburton is showing us over and over again, when we down, he wont help us up…..he fades away…..
This team is done, over. No heart, can't win shit with that kind of effort

Our best player got his ass handed to him by Miles McBride. Thats all that need to be said. He just didnt want any part of the competition. He was getting rid of the ball the first chance he got.

Assuming this team can find it's bawls and man up this series vs the knicks, the current active Pacer players don't have the grit & consistency to beat the Celtics, let alone the Nuggets/Wolves in a 5-7 game series.

This is why I don't understand why many of y'all were giving Mathurin a hard time for balling out to the very end of the game his rookie season. He is legitimately the alpha-male DAWG on this team which is SORELY missing right now. Mathurin is the dude who has that scrap mentality which Haliburton is missing and that is something you can't teach. The player has got to WANT IT. 24 damn 7...
Nesmith & McConnell got heart and play hard but unfortunately don't have the skill-set like Mathurin does. Nesmith has improved a lot since last season though. Nembhard and Shep playing with intensity but they're still young bucks and will need the off-season to improve.
If Toppin and Jalen Smith worked on their mid-range game and handles, they easily could become starters. They at least make an effort to get the boards. Jackson also needs to work on his mid-range game.
Which brings us to Jarace Walker. He is the x-factor. He has the skills to make it happen on all 3 levels, has handles, good passing vision, and can play D. They should have gotten his ass more involved the last 1/4 of the regular season. Most importantly, Walker needs to be sitting next to Mathurin and Nesmith so that "soft" mentality doesn't leach itself in while he hangs out on the damn bench...

Coach trying to stop momentum and adjust and fix the players mentality. Idk if you saw the game but once they scored once they scored multiple times after without us scoring. I feel like it's common sense

Gritty defensive mindset is needed for an entire game...Keep focused, don't be distracted getting into fight with opponent.. Don't get to high or too low... Lessons learned for young players. Tyrese just say your scared. Reggie Miller would never defer to role players in big moments. He came to play every game. We all can tell when your about to disappear in the first couple minutes.
If I see Myles Turner let Jalen Brunson get another uncontested look in the paint I'm going to spontaneously combust. Yall need to take a page out of the 80s Pistons playbook & make him think twice about going down there or this series is over on Friday.

It was embarrassing, you can't blame refs yall cut the lead to 7 after Miles Turner hits 9 3. Halibruton was getting outplayed by divenchenzo.
Haliburton had a terrible game... Defensively, he has to get better there.. Then Pascal... 🤦🙇🙆 Dude makes me want to rip my eye's out.. He's terrible. Idc about his 8 points in the 4th once the game was over.. He can't make shots directly under the rim.. Plays hot potato 🥔 with the ball.. Never looks to score.. can't.. doesn't get rebounds, Hartenstein dominated him on the glass.. Terrible to continue to match him. He just plays like a passive 🐈.. I mean Donte blocked him at the rim... I just wanna yell into my TV screen... GET AGGRESSIVE!!!!!!! PLAY LIKE YOU'RE 6'9...
Nesmith played amazing D. I was totally pissed at how he recieved a terrible call.. one foul should have been on Brunson.. To me that was a massive momentum shift.. one we never recovered from... The immediate 2 fouls on him threw the entire feel of the game.. Once they'd gotten up by 10 it was over.. Then the fact we can't even guard and stop Duce McBride made me want to vomit... I mean can we get Duce McBride on a max contract??? Smfh.. I'd literally give up half our roster for Donte and Hart.. fr though. This was so hard to watch... if they don't make serious changes this off-season.. I swear.. Done with Pascal, we need someone who can score the ball. Or a lot of Depth.. not a huge contract to a guy that's not even a 4th or 5th best player.. Turner is better than Pascal.. Dude can't even dribble a basketball without being a Turnover..
Why Nembhard was the automatic 2nd to guard Brunson was a head scratcher also.. Nembhard tries, it's just a bad match up for him.. Nesmith is a much better Defender.. and we need to get another like him.. he needs help. He can't guard everyone. Especially if they're going to whistle him for bs calls constantly... get some depth.... get a shooter if possible.. if not all solid depth pieces. Guy's that can play multiple positions. I'd love to add Hartenstein too. I'd rather have him than Pascal. He's a hustle player and scrapper.. That's what our team needs... not passiveness.. that type of play makes me want to beat my head against a wall... it's so frustrating to watch... I wish Nesmith was 6'9.. 🙇 .. so many guy's we could go after in FA.. we wasted those picks.. really blows considering I like a few player's in that 20 to 30 range.... so pissed.. 😤

I agree about Pascal. Everytime he touches the ball I wonder how he is gonna screw up the posession. Gets scored on constantly. Cant be consistent on FTs. His first 2 Bucks games were amazing. What happened to him?
Sure ho ahead and lay it at Pascal Siakam feet. Like he's the only one who made an effort on the glass. He was good at the line and even made 2/3 threes. The so called team leader keeps going AWOL, while other teammates think their prime MJ of Kobe. The main problem of this team is that they're not utilizing Siakam well. He already had this style of play when he helped the Raptors to a championship. Stop blaming everyone else but the person who carries the greater blame. Siakam did his job, others must also do theirs.

You gotta be able to see his good and bad. He isnt the only that's not playing well, but if you got back and watch the 1st qrtr, he isnt even on his man, hes like 5 ft away then tries to challenge a 3 and I think it was Donte or Hart who got his own rebound and layed it up while Siakam was just standing there. Its mindboggling. He did it the last 3 games. Gladly we won 2 of em. I'm not saying he is a trash player but he isnt doing all this he said before the playoffs started. He needs to step up his game, turn on the playoff Siakam. I have faith in him, i want him to stay, no hate whatsoever...just dont blindly follow someone
