    Bloody heck mate you’re making me feel guilty about complaining that I have to run in the evenings and weekends. Don’t think I could do that after getting up at 3am and working right through. Just showing though that it’s possible to work, be a dad, get the big shop in and run too! Love the videos. You’re a machine 😄

      Thanks Nicky. Don’t have to get up that early everyday 👍🏻

      Some going all the same. Especially on the hills. Fair play 👍🏻

    Super effort fitting all that training around work and family life. Makes my runs up pendle hill look pretty tame. Enjoying the videos. When is BGR leg 3 coming?

      Leg 3 will probably be the last one with it being the hardest, thinking it will take about 8 hours 😬

    Well done, mate! Skidda' is pretty tough to walk up! How many miles are you doing in a week?

    • @OldManRunning
      @OldManRunning  3 года назад

      Thanks. Usually getting between 40 and 60 miles depending on the elevation.

    Sounds like the response i get from my 13yr old son when i ask about his training session, it was alright or a grunt usual answer.

      That’s definitely more than I usually get 🤣. He’s struggling with motivation at the moment following a stress fracture in his foot.

    I'm curious about the uniform, are you a Train Driver?

    • @OldManRunning

      Yes, it’s a great job. Not been doing it long.

      Yeah, thought so, I've been doing it over 30 years now, not many people get up at that time to go to work 😂

    Do you aim for a certain pace on each rep or go by feel?

    • @OldManRunning
      @OldManRunning  3 года назад

      I base it on effort level with the inconsistency of gradient.

    Hi Alex, is there a way of following you on Facebook? I can only see add friend option. Enjoying the you tube videos. Why do you get up at 3am? 🙄. Bit early isn't it 😆

    • @OldManRunning

      Very early, thankfully not everyday. It’s my personal FB account so there is only a friend option.
