The basil seeds are coated with that blue stuff to make them easier to work with because otherwise they’re suuuuuper small!!!! Better for little hands!
Shahnta uses strawberry lemonade! I’m 34 weeks and started drinking raspberry leaf tea too, but I brew a big batch and keep it in the fridge! I’ve been mixing it with watermelon juice.

Just a tip for plant watering: you can't drown a plant by pouring too much water, the way you drown it is watering too frequently. How I water mine is if the soil is dry at least a inch deep you can do a full watering, then wait until the soil is dry again and the the soil tell you when it's thirsty
just some advice about the plant. you don't want to get the soil to wet or else it will kill it but for that amount of soil i would do about half as much as you did when it is starting to grow anothing thing that helped my plants is plant food in a pump bottle from lowes its super cheap and works great it helps it grow healthy as well as faster.

The seeds you planted were not blue. Many seeds are sold encased in a fertilizer type casing to make them easier to see and plant. Good luck with the baby and the seeds😊
