I like sharing; only one time that it wasn't great. Ended up doing the buffet and specialty the rest of the time.

When we took our first MSC cruise a few weeks ago on the Magnifica, we were worried and nervous about sharing a table at dinner. We had never experienced this before on a cruise and weren’t sure what to expect. That ended up being a great experience! We were at a table that seat 8 I believe and it ended up just being us and one other couple at that table. We enjoyed the conversation and sharing what we had done during the day. So what I was worried about the most before the cruise ended up being a great experience!

Tablesharing can be both good and bad. I am usually a solo cruiser so I always have to share. I love learning about fellow cruisers and their experiences and hopes for the cruise. However if you have to share those with drama from family issues, entitled passengers, or people who know everything about everything it can definitely ruin a meal.

There is a ride on the Stratosphere that goes out over the edge and tips downward, or at least there was a couple years ago. I tried it -- ONCE.

I do think the quality has gone down but not to the extent that most people say. I think some of it is perception. If you eat in the MDR and then go to specialty dining and then back to the MDR, the MDR will not seem as good.

I am a big fan of the dining room. It feels like date night every night. We aren't opposed to sharing a table. We have shared a table at Acme Oyster House just about every time we have eaten there. It's just the way it is. But I'm not sharing a booth! Crazy!! Glad Stache is feeling better. Love yall

Boothmate: “Are you going to eat that?”…
Me: “The rest of my burger?!”…
      Boothmate: “Yeah… are you?”…
      Me: 😕
You guys now have the best cruise story *ever* 🤪

MSC Seashore in November definitely had three seatings in the MDR. I had middle, about 7:15
I noticed when on the MSC Meravligia in January that they staggered dining times across the several MDRs, such that there were like nine different start times, from roughly 5pm to sometime around 9. Mine was 8:30, i think?

We’ll be on the Seashore in June. And we’ll have to take a gander at the times again.
9pm seems sooo late… we may be getting old! 🤪☺️🤪

The three seatings are for Caribbean cruises that do not depart from the U.S. these are southern Caribbean sailings that depart from either Fort De France or Pointe a Pitre and have many more European passengers than sailings from the East Coast. It’s a bucket list cruise for us as they go to more unusual less visited spots than the Florida based ships.

We’ve never been assigned that… so weird. Don’t think we could make it to 9:30 for dinner… maybe a “pre-dinner” dinner at the buffet! 😊😜😊

Thank you!!! Vet did bloodwork for thyroid (with allergy tests) and it came back normal. She didn’t think it was thyroid (because of the very regular nature of when it presents) but she did check anyways. Still a mystery, but Stache is doing good now!!!🥰🥳🥰

Hi Beth, Chris , on a unrelated subject , what was the name of the show on MSC Seashore that Chris absolutely loves? Said it was a cross between Sgt Peppers and something else . Thanks in advance . Trying to make sure we sign up for it when we go out on the 4th .

Beth's bar crawl sounds fun, but I hope Chris deleted that evil drink spinner from her phone. I also doubt it is the kitchen staff causing the quality decline of the food. The chefs and cooks want to prepare quality foods. I believe it comes from the bean counters and those the purchase the food. Even the best chef cannot prepare a outstanding meal with cardboard and mud.

Put enough Ranch dressing on that cardboard & mud… Beth just might like it! 🤪😊🤪
