He also looks good for his age I have to say, still has a young face despite being out in the sun all the time and working his body hard. More power to the plants!

I looked up an interesting article the other day trying to learn about the fundamental difference between meat protein and plant protein. Plant protein doesn't have all types of amino acids so you can't absorb all the nutrients from plant diet, but it has a lot of phytochemicals and antioxidants that the meat protein lacks big time. You're probably right, Novak's plant diet probably slowed down his aging as well. If you look at most tennis players, they age quite a bit earlier than most people on average, training hours and hours under the sun and their bodies wear and tear easily despite their efforts to recover after matches and practice sessions. As with all athletes. Djokovic really hasn't had a significant injury since he rose to his peak level in 2011. That hugely attributes to his diet for sure.

Its so interestimg how different we all are. For me also switching to whole foods made a huge difference. Only difference i have a lot of nordic ancestors and my sex drive and recovery ability plummets on a plant based diet. I work quite well on 50/50 animal/plant. Liver, testicales and bone marrow especially gives me so much energy.❤

I used to get nauseous after a few sets of squats. It went away soon after going vegan the end of 2007.

Isn't that the other way around? Like, doesn't meat contain a lot of iron which can prevent you from being nauseated?

Each body is different and in all likelihood it worked out for him.
Also plant based reduces the oxidative stress and recovery but i am sure every1 needs some animal protein sources and omega 3 fats.

Yeah because meat protein contains all types of amino acids. But they're not exactly necessary, because you can still live healthy by just eating plant protein, just gotta make sure you don't solely consume green fibers.

Does organic coconut sugar in small amounts, have a detrimental affect, the same as refined white sugar?

Hard to say for sure. I had similar things to Djokovic with breathing and night chocking symptoms. I cut out nuts from my diet and feel much better now. I was eating nuts all the time and they weren't doing me any good. If it's not processed or GMO or sprayed with glyphosphates etc.. then I think it can be animal or plant.
