And by the way dez is 51 2005 was 12 years ago everybody knows father time eventually catches u. This 51 year old is a legend and still is 1 of the all time best vocalists.

I got to see Hatebreed Devil driver and Act Of Defiance while on Hatebreeds THE CONCRETE CONFESSIONAL TOUR.
It was my first time seeing DevilDriver live and they are absolutely hands down fuckin bangin dam good!!!

big festival sound is really hard to capture if you dont have a line in to the mixing board for a clean sound so i understand that it sounds this way what i was more concerned with was the new line up playing old songs. Im not sure the new drummer can keep up with the old drummers awesome techniques. the guitars are on almost there. i guess we just gotta give it time.

It doesn't have anything to do with age, just take a look for example at Vader, their vocalist is 4 years older than Dez and still growls awesome.
Exept for taking care of one's voice, I heard that vocalists don't hear themselves good on shows, so they push their voices to be louder / better and they hurt their voice cords with that, so there also may be a point with this.

Dead to rights was brilliant so was end of the line clouds over ca just was outstanding for me when I was a youngster just that era of them was all or nothing it was like a proving ground in music like job for a cowboy or Eliza or any band that wanted to stand apart like devildriver does but the exception to sex and the guys is that during end of the line, gave such heavy hardcoreness that it brought such a different feel to who these guys are from other bands that's what I would say brought them to be different in a great way I appreciated them and also that dez with his interviews as well just pure ! Inspiration compared to say mettalica or slayer or slipknot. Gojirra is much in that same category but I would even say that over them devildriver holds much respect to anyone of ozzfest,warped tour, anyone of the line of because of devildriver sounds

Derek S I think the new drummer is tighter than the old one. In nearly every live clip I've seen of End Of The Line with the old drummer, they fuck it up when the drums come in and it gets a bit sloppy. Doesn't happen with this dude.
