- The three white men who murdered Black 25-year-old Ahmaud Arbery are being sentenced in Glynn County, Georgia, where they each face the possibility of life in prison.
Travis McMichael, his father Gregory McMichael and their neighbour William “Roddie” Bryan Jr chased Mr Arbery, who was unarmed, through a neighbourhood in their tricks before shooting him in February 2020. The attack was captured in footage filmed by Bryan.

The Judge was correct in that the McMichael's demeanour and body language conveyed a lack of remorse. Their arrogance and contempt was on full display when they refused to stand to receive their sentence from the court.

@Epictetus 35 Who charges at someone pointing a gun? A cornered man who feels he has nothing left other than trying to fight back. Arbery had no obligation to stop for these caveboys. They are not the law. What would you do if you were being chased down by a couple of trucks full of Deliverance type roadkill munchers? They'll be in protective custody. But they will need to carefully inspect every food tray they get from the cafeteria. The prison chefs can get very creative with adding extra ingredients to their dishes. I'll just give one word of advice to the 3 stooges here:
Stay away from the prison meat loaf!
They will be let out after a retrial. No way they stay in prison for life for self defense. You probably hoped Rittenhouse got a big sentence too

Tthere's no credible source for the claim that he was wearing timberlands. It doesn't really matter what he was doing at the construction since he wasn't doing anything illegal let alone committing a felony (which is the legal requirement for invoking a citizen's arrest) and nothing was ever reported stolen from there

Keyword: former. They had no authority to arrest him, unless they witnessed him committing a felony, which they didn't. Also, only one of them was a former cop.
He charged them, after he tried to run away several times. They kept blocking him, trying to hit him, and threatening to shoot him (this is all by their own admission to police). Arbery stood his ground
