- California only has two lore notes, but that doesn't mean that's where the lore stops. In this Unturned lore video I'll search the entire California map for any secrets and hidden lore.

California is a really good map, kind of disappointed it hasn't retained a positive player count. I'd honestly put it in the upper echelon of unturned maps with Elver and Arid, but that's just me.
Also, Knight, I am humbly requesting that you make another video discussing upcoming curated maps. They're the only things keeping me going

Huh... The California map has a lot of weird moments but mostly due to the fact that one of the developers (Clue) was not very experienced at the time when creating California and it was this person who as far as I know edited most of the map
In fact, because of that there was even a little conflict in the past that you know about.
as in the example of the door that requires a key card, it is located in these places just because. and apparently he just didn't know that the door uses a key card which has caused strange questions in the community that I see repeatedly.
the white mafia suit that is found in the big pink building is probably there just because... just because the place looks rich (there are gold clocks and chandeliers) and it didn't make sense for the developers to make another suit for the hotel staff because it's easier to use the mafia suit.
Similar to the vest worn by the zombies at Gonzales Estate.
zombies wear it just because... it doesn't make sense or have any mystery and most likely the map developer used these models to avoid creating more assets.
as for the theory of the deal, you have to remember that California has some new weapons in the description of these weapons it is mentioned that they are from Russia.
It would also be nice to mention that on the second floor of the Manor there are suitcases with Money and in the town near the coast it seems that the bank was robbed, which can be seen by the broken door, I don't know where this money came from in the Manor from a deal that was or was not made, either from a robbery or they were just used as decorative objects.
Similarly with the same black inscriptions on the wall in the room of the pink building, they are there simply because the furniture in all the rooms of this building is repeated and sometimes no one has even tried to turn it, all the rooms are just a copy of another without any modifications
Similarly with the icon of the soul crystal on the roof, it is there for no reason and the tents near the pink building are needed there more for progression than for the story
Also in the hotel you can find between the floors a vintage stove and with a special wish I can put this on the Yukon map

Ey Knight. I found something about Arid. For some reason the Embassy of the Americans on Arid look so damn familiar with the one in Somalia. Dont know why or how but for some reason i believe Arid has become Somalia as the Embassy look identical.
Then what are the Soviets OPENLY doing there? I mean proxy wars between the U.S. and the Soviet Union were fought between Somalia and Ethiopia in which they interestingly switched sides as regimes changed if it was Somalia the Soviets wouldn’t have an OPEN presence there I.e. LITERALLY WAVING THEIR FLAG AROUND A SOVIET BASE. It doesn’t make sense and plus if I remember correctly Soviet involvement in Somalia ended about a decade or so or more before when events of Arid takes place in the 90’s and the U.S. were the only ones operating somewhat openly in the country at the time (Black Hawk Down anyone?) I mean this is just my opinion and my knowledge of Cold War history speaking sound I could be misremembering something so in all fairness you could be right. Anyways just stating my opinion.

I was thinking alot about the deadzone in the mines and i think the DCC found the bunker after few miners found another scorpion 7 facility since scrp7 have places in most of America and canada and that will explain the quarantine signs along side the heavy radiation since this is not the first time in unterned a radioactive incident was cause by miners
