His legacy continues in his brand of TSM; both the team and company. They are the most popular team in NA and have consistently performed when it mattered. He, almost single-handedly, got the snowball rolling to this point; he carried. People like Bjergson and Dyrus kept his snowball rolling, but he made the snowball in the first place.
Are they though? Did you take a poll? The scenes in Korea and China are FAR bigger than in the western world. I'd imagine that a Korean team (Like SKT, for example) would have far more popularity. Even lesser known teams (in western cultures) like Rox Tigers and KT and CJ and such would actually be more popular in terms of numbers of fans, simply because of the sheer number of fans that the western world has in comparison to us. You could be right, but I seriously doubt it.
TSM is the first ever professional competitive team to be created for League of Legends. They have fans not only in NA but across all of Europe and Asia as well. Before the KR server was even released for League of Legends, TSM already existed and were the team that everyone across the world looked at and admired. Back then Korean players played on other servers because they didn't have a server to play on them self. Yes we're in 2016, so Korea and China are FAR more popular than they were before, in fact stronger regions as well. But TSM is still way up there when it comes down to popularity, despite the fact of how popular the game is outside of North America.

Wow, Regi slowly became one of my heros. He got his team (Now a thriving business) to where he it is because he wanted it. He was just a teenager when this all started, and he kept going because that's what he cared about more in the world. I love people who puts everything in their passion and makes it into something this globally loved. This dude is amazing.
I have a lot of respect for this guy. He soaks up the hate for TSM when things aren't going well, and when TSM wins it's the players that get all the credit. Meanwhile he's kept things together for a looong time, recruited some of the best players, and all of his teammates have only good things to say about him. Not to mention the fact his "brand" is the most recognizable and entertaining thing in LoL Esports, love or hate.

+Moad Ben Reginald used to be known for his Twisted Fate play in a negative sense, that he would always pull a blue card instead the yellow to stun. Funny thing is that the rest of his play on that champion was actually really good, very agressive and set up TSM to win teamfights by going in hard and shifting the pace in teamfights / pressure around the map.
This guy is the figure we need to look up to as young people. instead of pointing out his flaws, just look at what he has achieved through his own passion. He is the Ronaldinho of eSports; he is a legend with a legacy.

And a lot of the time if was always him causing the issues and rifts between the players because of this attitude. Ever since he retired and started to run TSM instead of also play (and of course gotten older and more mature), I've liked him a lot more. Regardless of if I like him or not though, got tremendous respect for a kid who took his dreams and goals, worked in his blood, sweat and tears and made it happen.
