A great version of a classic song very well performed. I was lucky enough to see Alannah perform this live decades ago in the UK when if I recall correctly the band supported Robert Plant on the Fate of Nations tour (I may have the wrong album here, it was a long time ago). I was near the front having been a Robert Plant fan for a long time and her performance was brilliant performing most of the debut album. The later albums were even better but never got the recognition that they deserved as music tastes changed. Nevertheless a brilliant version. At a guess I assume that 'Felix' the cat was in charge of direction and as such like the late Alfred Hitchcock decided to appear as a guest in the video. Well done and many thanks for sharing.

Simply blown away by this one. Black Velvet has been a top-10 favorite of mine since I very first heard it, and this version is simply sensational. The guitar and drums are completely on point and the vocals really knock it out of the park.

Great cover. everyone. Acoustics are always spot-on, and the ladies blend together well. Alexandra's vocals sounded (to my ear almost like Alannah). I remember the version Andrei did with Sina and Victoria K, which was also a good cover.
The RUclips movement of young people performing classic 70's 80's and 90's is wonderful and remarkable. The talents of KissMe is very enjoyable to watch. A great cover of a Canadian classic! The song was written by Christopher Ward and David Tyson. Ward was Alannah Myles' boyfriend at the time. Ward used to be a VJ on Much Music, Canada's answer to MTV. It's a great tribute to Elvis Presley and US Southern Culture.

I used to hate this song. It got over played at the biker bars, but I actually got goose bumps listening to this band. The vocals, the acoustic guitar's, the boot stomping in the dust, and oh yes, the cat.
Incredible good harmonies by Giulia and Alexandra, top acoustic guitar by Andrei, a more than solid bass line by Robert and the nice short part on the small keyboard by Giulia. The location in the barn is outstanding and comes with this cute cat - beautiful video!

Country barn style for "Black Velvet" - a great idea. Excellent singing by Giulia and Alexandra - great harmonies and power!. A flawless bass-line by Robert - and Andrei the genius at the guitar. Electronic drum support by Robert and the mini-keyboard is managed by Giulia. We miss Beatrice and Maria, but therefore we have a supercute cat (very important on RUclips).
