I had this exact issue with a steam game Dying Light. Although I had tried method 2 previously, after trying method 1 and restarting and then method 2 and restarting it worked! No idea why, just happy that it works. Thanks =)
What causes the error, cause I tried using a vid editing software I've had for years that has never given me issues, and suddenly this came up. I tried a free trial for a new software cause I figured I needed a new one, but had the same problem. I know it's not malware, cause I ran malware, found 3 of them, removed them, but the problem persisted.

i have a 64-bit operating system. i tried both ways and the only thing that could be installed that wasn't already was the 32-bit download in step 1, and the game i was trying to run before this still isn't working. i rewatched the video to check if i did something wrong and it doesn't seem like i did. do you have an answer to help?
have a 64 bit version windows 10. had the problem cuz of a EA Game (previous Origin). i downloaded the files and put them into the right folders...didnt work. installed redistributuals...didnt work. moved the old msvcp110 64 bit dll files (i had 2) to a backup folder and installed "Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2022" & "Visual Studio 2013 (VC++ 12.0)", checked if the dll was created, reinstalled the game and it worked. FINALLY ;D
@@iamme8770 NOPE - thoe i have just lanched it with a DLC also I have fixed anouther isue with just reinstaling the normal javascript functions thing - hope this helps I am not at home so cant tyipe that much info.

I am currently trying to pplay a game called Smite, and its giving me the code execution cannot proceed because MSVCR100.dll was not found. I tried both of your ways in trying to fix the dll with the links and such you provided and upon restarts they didnt work still.
First method didn't work. Second method isn't working either. I had to uninstall the package, but after doing that, it still says I can't install it because the package is installed, though I just uninstalled it. So now my OS is sitting without a 2015-2019 C++ package. WTF is going on??? I just wanted to run my video editing software when this stuff started up. I can't run any video editing software, period. And now I have no idea what's wrong with my pc.

When trying method 2 it says I can't install the Microsoft file because it's already installed.

No it does not detect the dll even after reinstalled the game. The dll file is in the sys32 folder but lord bioshock remastered does not give a fuck.
