The game of Basketball has been my passion since I was 5 years old. I grew up as a kid watching my dad's recorded VHS tapes of playoff games through the 70s and 80s, and collected all the Basketball cards. Something about the game and what it represents just hooked me from a very young age.
My love for the game only continues to grow as time goes on. I love studying and analyzing the game, with an unbiased perspective. Feel free to subscribe, follow me on social media, and celebrate this amazing game and it's rich history with me!

Jonny, I just want to recommend to you you to read "Hang Time. My Life in Basketball" byElgin Baylor. Its an amazing Book and i think you can learn a lot about the 60s Basketball and guys like elgin (of course) Jerry West, Wilt and Russel

Great searching and overall great work for an hour Jonny, your investigation skills are Goat level. Something you forgot to mention is, in the best trade of all time, Bill Russell on his interview with Bill Simmons mentioned he would'nt play in the NBA if he was forced to play in the Hawks. The racism in that franchise was insane, usually Bob Pettit didn't want to play with black players, so the discrimination was on his highest peak when they drafted Russell. Even thought that team could have become a dynasty with the talent they have, Russell would'nt played in the league, less being a Goat candidate. Straight facts.

Remember that Kemp briefly attended Trinity Junior College before he was drafted into the NBA. So who knows, maybe it could have happened?
