Is Hyperinflation a threat? How does it happen and what are the consequences? We look at the Weimar Hyperinflation and draw parallels from a hundred years ago to today. We also talk about what to do when you expect inflation and Bitcoin as a potential hedge.
The video is based on Adam Fergusson's book "When Money Dies - The Nightmare of Deficit Spending, Devaluation, and Hyperinflation in Weimar Germany"

superb video . Thank you
Excellent video, here in Costa Rica we have the highest inflation in Central America, at 11% Year to date
Many places in Europe are already similar.
I really enjoyed it, thank you.
Thank you, good sir!
Great content bro. Really enjoyed this. Liked and Subscribed!
Thanking you
Very well put!
It's very interesting to note that hyperinflation is a largely man made disaster almost every single time, i think Saifeadean Ammous does good judgement to that in his book. I live in Lebanon and while the massive inflation rate here does not classify as hyperinflation, you can't but help wonder/curse your luck that this because of a political deadlock that is stupid beyond measure.
not too mention that politicians never learn from history
Excellent!!
Since congress voted to give themselves the right to borrow from world bank as they see fit. Our national debt has gone from millions to billions to trillions in just a matter of a few years.
Great explanation and Video.
Hi! Greetings from Argentina, with 140% LTM, last month 12.7%, and probably worst in the next months. And people vote to continue the current government. Can anyone explain this phenomenon called Argentina? :)
Wow, great vid…new follower
Thanks!
Awesome video. Do you have good book recommendations for Austrian Economics?
I will be buying this book. So interesting
Yes it‘s great!
There is a new theorie how the hyperinflation in Germany startet. "The Case Against the Quantity Theory: Hyperinflations as Central Bank Insolvencies, (Mis-) Leading Textbooks and an Obscure Culprit for Hollowing-out the Euro" from Ingo Sauer, University Frankfurt am Main.
He says, the turning point was the "bankruptcy" of the central bank. No one saw any value in the central bank's claims. Mostly government bonds. The central bank had already sold foreign exchange and gold.
The question is, will the world believe the U.S. will repay its bonds.
Everything is getting MAXD.OUT😊
So if you fund a war with debt.... and then lose.... hard times are coming.
Ethereum is fiat
6:14 lol... do we really still believe this?
Thanking you
