- We noticed the vans were moving towards the show field, so we hit record and started walking.
Filmed Friday 7/7/2023 at Logan County Fairgrounds in Sterling, CO during the 50th Van Nationals.

I gotta shout out the 78 chevy short bed. I bought a 4x4 black with black interior. I thought I was smart paying 1,950 from a used car lot and selling it for 7,500, 5,550 profit. Turns out it was possibly worth 20k

only been to one Nats, way back in 2006, drove my 71 Econline org bubble top from California, went to see my sister shes in Newcastle PA then back to Idaho where i bought a home
this was my second van nationals , had a sensational time witnessing these historic heros , meeting vanners from all over the world.
For sure well said - historic heroes! So many great vans and interesting characters.
I just got an 89 econoline. Gimme a couple years I'll be there.

The first econoline remains a legend in my book, the early 70s big dodge vans also, timeless bodystyles.

That van at 0:55 , with the engine swap, has the intriguing license plate GOHEMI. Would like to know more.
That van is known as "The Innkeeper" and pretty sure it's a fresh 360. It's definitely on instagram @the_innkeeper_van -- but not sure about facebook since we don't do facebook.

can you just go to one of these if you don't have a van? I would love to see these in person. Eventually id love to customize my own if I can ever figure out how lol
Typically, to get into the event you need a van. You could rent a van like a minivan or camper van or a UHaul van... or go with a friend who has a van. Doesn't need to be a show van or anything fancy - just a "van". Some events have a public show outside of the event area where people like you could check them all out in person. Rent a van and hit the 52nd Van Nationals in Albert Lea, MN July 2025. Lots of youtube videos with custom van ideas. Good luck & thanks for the comment!
