- Hi and welcome to WannaGoBiking. My name is Arjan and it is time for a new Bikepacking Adventure! After prematurely ending my Wales trip because of injuries and a week's worth of bad weather coming my way, I decided to go to Nantes. Well worth the visit and a good starting point for my 3 day trip along the Loire towards Tours.
On my second day I left the beautiful campground and headed out towards Saumur via Angers.
A very hot day...

Excellent video! I like the beautiful scenery and animated map at the end. I've been along the Loire three times, but the only biking was to explore the regions around Tours and Amboise. Happy Biking!

Tip: the Anjou Vélo Vintage is held in Saumur each year also.
