Rab - 3 Connections

There are three ferry connections to the island of Rab in the Karner Bay in the Croatian Adriatic, which is very popular with holidaymakers. Two of them carry cars, motorcycles, buses and trucks, while the third is a fast connection with a catamaran that transports passengers only.
The car ferries go firstly from the port of Valbiska on the island of Krk to Lopar in the north of the island of Rab, and secondly from Stinica on the mainland to Mišnjak in the south of Rab. From Valbiska the journey takes 1 hour and 20 minutes, from Stinica 20 minutes.
The catamaran takes 1 hour and 45 minutes to reach the port of Rab from the big city of Rijeka in the north of the Kvarner Bay.
Both for the ferry from Valbiska to Lopar, as well as the catamaran connection from Rijeka to Rab, tickets can be purchased in advance online via the homepage of the state ferry company Jadrolinija.
