Yeah, Chuck is incredibly disciplined, that's what it takes to be a free-wheeling player. When Chuck is preparing for a tour he is up at 6AM everyday and runs through the first 20 Hanon exercises in EVERY key. That really is incredible!

I know, had the same reaction. This guy is one of the top players in the world (Allman bros, Stones, Raitt, etc.) and yet he can't read? Gives me hope because I can barely read, yet write tunes and play all kinds of stuff by ear. Nice to know.
