@@zonk834 I was finally able to get True Monk down last night: no revive, no prosthetics, and no combat arts (that’s the full parameters I gave myself for the gauntlets), now I just have to be able to get it consistent enough to get to Inner Isshin to practice on him. Whatta long, tedious process. lol And side note, that damn centipede terror attack throws me off so much, and RNG got me good last night, I got the unblockable prompt, and third phase true monk actually went for the thrust attack and turned my world upside down 😂. I didn’t know that was in his third phase move set, had me questioning my whole existence. 😂
21:13 this has an easy explanation : lady butterfly has two phases and guardian ape has two deathblow things. when you killed the guardian ape the game basically said like oh you killed the first phase of butterfly now we give you the second phase of lady butterfly and instead it gave you genichiro
Quick tip for the bull, put some distance between you and him and let him charge at you. As he nears he'll dip his head down, you can deflect when he raises it to attack, it'll stun him for a second and let you get a couple attacks in. Then run away and create some distance, rinse and repeat. It might be slow but it's safe and gets the job done.

The Genichiro in the Genichiro fight was actually the first phase of sword saint Isshin's fight. You can tell by the mortal blade. Though I'm sure most people knew that.
Reason why genichiro appears is that in the original boss fights each phase is a different game entity entirely. Phase two genichiro is different than phase one genichiro so each has its own random enemy

Sekiro randomizers are so fun but it's really sad when u get a boss that u can't kill like the armored soldier or a bug with the finisher that just won't let you finish the boss

This game is a Masterpiece imo , it's Challenging at first specialy the first half blind walkthrough... It does however get much easier when upgrading the Prosthetic Shinobi Tool , that thing was awsome... I honestly think this game deserves multiple DLC's actually or even sequels/prequels if so , its Fromsoftware they dont need wolf again if he turned Shura... Might aswell be a final boss or DLC final boss actually , but its Shadow of the Erdtree's spotlight for now... Even tho some action souls-likes are getting pretty hyped like Black Myth Wukong , definitely reminicent of Sekiro more than any Fromsoft game actually.

I haven't played Sekiro in years. I used to beat this game in a little more than an hour. All the way to sword saint. Just booted it up for the first time today, and realized i have no idea how to play this game. Been playing DS3 and Elden Ring lately and Sekiro is completely foreign. Tried a randomizer, got stuck because no Hirata bell. So went back to the first mini boss not including the first one in the tutorial cause i didn't want to fight chained ogre with all late game enemies around. And oh boy, i gave up.
