- Today I tried playing through Sekiro but with a twist. I randomized the entire game including enemies and items to create a brand new chaotic experience! After playing through Elden Ring as my first every souls game from Fromsoft, I played through Sekiro over a year ago and kick started my channel. Since then I have played through all of the other Fromsoft titles and have now returned to my roots once again to take on this funny challenge.

11:55 you can parry the terror beam with just your sword and it prevents the rest of the beam from hitting you. parry at the start of it then run through it to take down the Shichimen Warrior.

I don't know why was so surprised to read you could do this, considering the rest of the game lets you parry attacks from house-sized monstrosities with a normal ass sword.
I did not know that I only used the umbrella
3:41 for those who don´t know: the Grab attacks from that guy can actually be deflected like it was a thrust attack...it hast bs timing though.
I learned it for like 30min, never missed it since, it is rly late timing

@@Nyakoj83 yeah I also only found that out only through a video of a speedrunner...for those two dicks I normally eather drain their health with poison for the one in the swamp and the other I skip unless I absolutely have to
@@Nyakoj83 yep. the timing was awfully late though. you need to wait until she actually tries to pull her scythe back then parry that attack despite the warning sign and the noise already gone at that point.
Its just very late, the window is pretty big and easy to hit the parry

He's not even playing Charmless/Demon Bell. I think the title is just a clickbait more than Sekiro is actually too easy for him.
@@Kenshi876 honestly, I think it’s sarcasm, but I still wanna see if he can do the gauntlets 😂, I’ve completed the Devine Heir one without revives, I’m working on severance but the third phase of the True Monk changes the tempo of the fight so much I’m not quite to that “one life” stipulation I gave myself for the gauntlets 😂
I actually have defeated all the gauntlets except mortal journey, it's pretty fun
@@VitaminSwann0true monk is definitely tricky. It’s inevitable that I jump the terror attack in anticipation of those crazy fast sweeps. I dread it more than inner isshin at times.
@@AProblemOfficer I was finally able to get True Monk down last night: no revive, no prosthetics, and no combat arts (that’s the full parameters I gave myself for the gauntlets), now I just have to be able to get it consistent enough to get to Inner Isshin to practice on him. Whatta long, tedious process. lol
And side note, that damn centipede terror attack throws me off so much, and RNG got me good last night, I got the unblockable prompt, and third phase true monk actually went for the thrust attack and turned my world upside down 😂. I didn’t know that was in his third phase move set, had me questioning my whole existence. 😂

Sekiro randomizers are so fun but it's really sad when u get a boss that u can't kill like the armored soldier or a bug with the finisher that just won't let you finish the boss
Lady Butterfly and Corrupted Monk really banded together there at the end to try and save the world.

This game is a Masterpiece imo , it's Challenging at first specialy the first half blind walkthrough... It does however get much easier when upgrading the Prosthetic Shinobi Tool , that thing was awsome... I honestly think this game deserves multiple DLC's actually or even sequels/prequels if so , its Fromsoftware they dont need wolf again if he turned Shura... Might aswell be a final boss or DLC final boss actually , but its Shadow of the Erdtree's spotlight for now... Even tho some action souls-likes are getting pretty hyped like Black Myth Wukong , definitely reminicent of Sekiro more than any Fromsoft game actually.
I knew the no death-animation would be funny for Genichiro and was not disappointed lol
When fighting general shirafuji and another gun wielding bosses, you can jump straight up in the air to avoid their grab attack
shinobi executions are so much more satisfying than hitting the boss with a light attacks and they just evaporate
when I played for the first time i stupidly didnt know how to use miraki counters and watching this gave me terrible memories

You can actually parry the gun fort guy's grab even though it has the red mark of unparryable
I also thought a Giraffe is gonna come breaking down those walls too. LMAO
4:15 idk if you know but you can parry the unparriable attack. Doesnt make sense but you are able to do that in the right window(I think its the moment she starts pulling back her gun just before grabbing you)
This can definitely create more potential for replayability.

You can parry the grab attack by the snakeye ladies. The timing is a little odd but it makes them way faster to fight.

I can't even beat the blazing bull with like seriously 5 shinobi tools, multiple skills, one prayer bead necklace and you seriously had to do this
Quick tip for the bull, put some distance between you and him and let him charge at you. As he nears he'll dip his head down, you can deflect when he raises it to attack, it'll stun him for a second and let you get a couple attacks in. Then run away and create some distance, rinse and repeat. It might be slow but it's safe and gets the job done.

Idk if you had the spear that pulled but for that fire drunkard in gun fort but you could've pulled it's armor off and did more damage to him

I haven't played Sekiro in years. I used to beat this game in a little more than an hour. All the way to sword saint. Just booted it up for the first time today, and realized i have no idea how to play this game. Been playing DS3 and Elden Ring lately and Sekiro is completely foreign. Tried a randomizer, got stuck because no Hirata bell. So went back to the first mini boss not including the first one in the tutorial cause i didn't want to fight chained ogre with all late game enemies around. And oh boy, i gave up.

I've seen quite a lot of Sekiro randomizer runs but it seems Geni insists on replacing Gyobu almost every time XD
In vanilla, Gyobu says something like "Im sorry, Genichiro" when you defeat him. So in the randomizer Geni is like: "I'll fuckin' do it myself then"
@tomsnow7108 unfortunately for geni, if you're playing a randomizer mod that means you've likely downloaded genichiro's every movement.

You can perfect deflect the grab of the Cannon snake woman btw, if you know the timing it makes building her posture really easy
just be ready as she pulls back her cannon when she proceeds to grab you.

The texts we're randomized yeah. I looked later on after I beat the randomizer and apparently Mikiri was hidden in Mibu Village somewhere
