The Genio-produced track sees TENI take time to offer thanksgiving to God for helping her through the pain and successes.
The video was directed by TENI and OYE 2.0 and was shot in Lagos, Nigeria
She's one of my favorites because she acknowledges God. The media tries to get her down because of she openly acknowledges God.

I think the lyrics of this song come from the depths of her heart. At some point in life, you have to make some very difficult decisions, sometimes because of your faith. Actually Malaïka it’s from Hebrew/Arabic origins that got into africa through Swahili and now most southern Africans use it as Angel but it’s Arabic and Aramaic (Jesus’ language) origins.
