This is such great stuff! As a newcomer to the Mythic system I nabbed All The Things but have struggled a little fitting everything into a coherent whole. Your videos are such a huge help in settling everything into place in my fevered brain!
I'm glad you specifically called out the question of the utility of the Chaos Factor influencing likelihood. I haven't looked at the Variations, yet, but I find this the weakest aspect of the Mythic GME. I think tying the CF to the chance of a Random Event (or modification of a scene) fits the idea of Chaos well, but with respect to the Oracle, I personally think Chaos would be better represented as removing certainty -- the more chaotic a situation, the harder to GET a definitive Y or N. Thanks for putting this video together, I like your approach to the topic, and will look at more of your stuff.
I've been having trouble wrapping my mind completely around some aspects of this system but your video let something click and now I get it. So thanks for this great video!
Thank you for your video. I plan on running Mythic GM with a game for my son and I and this has helped bring clarity and reassurance that we can do it.
Pro: Thank you for this video explaining the subject. It was very helpful. Con: Please use a microphone close to your mouth; in this echoing room it was somewhat hard to understand your speaking.
Thanks a lot! I don’t have it, because the shipping prices to Europe are quite steep. But I do use the Adventure Crafter deck on digital form quite often!
I understand that this is also part of Mythic Role Playing. Should I get that or should I get the Emulator? I heard that it is exactly the same, except that with Role Playing, it comes with its own sets of RPG rules (Mythic's own system).
@@RPGTips Thanks. If I wanted to use D&D, what D&D resources would I need? Would the Players Handbook be enough (I don't' think I'd need the Dungeon Masters Guide for example)?
The best and most comprehensive video I have seen on RUclips for Mythic. Nice Job
Great video. I've started using Mythic for a solo RPG but sometimes I get the feeling that I'm missing something, so these videos are very helpful.
Great analysis. I’ve loved using Mythic GME over the years

That’s why I’m so glad its meaning changed in Mythic Variations 2! Now I cannot go back. Glad to have you here!
Just getting into this type of play, and your videos have been incredibly useful.

This is the kind of responses that warms my heart. I hope your adventures with your son are amazing :)
Excellent video! Thanks, muchas gracias! 👏
Very interesting introduction to Mythic.. looking forward to more.. would definitely enjoy seeing the tools you use, and an example of play too.

Perfect for Tunnels & Trolls or Monsters! Monsters! - THE best (and the original) solitary system.
Nice video... going to see the rest later and hope for some lets play :D
Great video, thanks for the review. Have you checked out the Mythic GM Emulator Deck on DriveThru? I just got mine and it’s amazing.

Thank you so much!

I’d recommend you use your favourite RPG rules, to be honest. The Mythic RPG isn’t anything to call home about.

@@fitzgeraldlimisella4393 I recommend getting the Solo Adventurers Toolbox from DM's Guild. Gives a lot of guidance specifically for solo D&D.
@@horusofoz thanks. This was an old message. I have actually since used the Toolbox :)
