I line the bottom with paper towel in case there are any splatters or some minimal overflow. keeps the revolving bottom glass from getting caked on food bits :)

Plastic film -, told not healthy
Plastic micro lid - is that not the same ?
At least out of a lot of them - it has a descent handle - to grip onto - safer

Is it healthy to use plastic in the microwave?

No… scientific study says when it heats up some of the plastic gets in the food. Take it out of the plastic and heat in the glass dish.

Sorry but no, I have one of those and it doesnt work.. If your soup actually did splatter, it would at least be on the center of the lid so your demonstration didn't even splatter at all... If a lid leaves any gap at all, and the food platters, it will not be contained.. Try doing a bowl full of Beefaroni and let it cook for 3 minutes with that lid and see what happens.. These type of fake reviews are just so you click on the link and buy it because they get kickbacks on the sale, hence the reason for the code in the link..
