CLIP DESCRIPTION:
At the toy store, Howard (Arnold Schwarzenegger) and Myron (Sinbad) are mocked for their lateness in buying a Turbo Man doll.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
The true meaning of Christmas -- desperate last-minute shopping -- is the subject of this holiday-themed comedy. Howard Langston (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is a mattress salesman with a bad habit of putting his work ahead of his family. His son Jamie (Jake Lloyd), who wishes Dad would pay more attention to him, wants only one thing for Christmas -- a Turbo Man action figure, with all the accessories. Howard promises both Jamie and his wife Liz (Rita Wilson) that there will indeed be a Turbo Man under the tree for Jamie on Christmas morning, but come December 24, Howard realizes that he hasn't actually bought the toy yet. Seemingly it would be no great problem to head on down to the toy store and pick one up, but it just so happens that Turbo Man has been the hottest ticket of the holiday season, and literally thousands of parents are scrambling for the last few action figures. Howard then spends a hilariously hellish Christmas Eve madly scrambling from store to store in desperate search of a Turbo Man; in the course of his adventures, Howard keeps crossing paths Myron Larabee (Sinbad), a postal worker who wants a Turbo Man even more desperately than Howard. And on the home front, Howard has to worry about Ted Maltin (Phil Hartman), an annoyingly perfect suburbanite obsessed with Christmas who has eyes for Liz. This was the second film for child actor Jake Lloyd, who three years later would gain international attention when he was cast as the young Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace.

A lot of people say that this movie is crap but, to me Jingle All the Way is a guilty Christmas pleasure that I love to revisit every year.

I agree! I was surprised to realize that this was one of my favorite Christmas movies. Arnold and Sinbad were a great duo and the late, great Phil Hartman as the annoying neighbor - hilarious!

They managed to cast the two guys with the world's greatest hysterical laughter. What a scene, I couldn't stop laughing myself once the second guy came in with that face.

Maan, Arnold is such a damn legend. You can literally just spend all day on RUclips going through one memorable clip after another. 90's kid here and to me the holiday season is NEVER complete without this movie.
As a '90s kid, I concur. Don't forget about Home Alone, Home Alone 2, The Muppet Christmas Carol, Christmas Vacation (yeah, released in 1989, but it was ALMOST the start of the '90s decade), The Santa Clause! (these were movies I personally grew up on).

Didn't notice until I recently watched this on blu-ray...but you can see a bunch of video game systems on the shelves in the background at this part - Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, 32x, Sega Saturn, Sony Playstation, and Virtual Boy.
Ah, those good old days + having playable games on display, but you were usually only allowed 15 minutes.
A Virtual Boy product placement is quite a sight to behold.

After Arnold Schwarzenegger ran out of the toy store at 1:42, I remember there was a deleted scene of him talking to a woman (played by Yeardley Smith who voices Lisa Simpson) that left the store and he tried buying it from her for 300 dollars which she gave him along with the bag, and when he took it out of the bag, it was Turbo Man's partner Booster which he threw in the trash and then he chased after the woman in the car at 1:52.

+The Deathless Lord Cerberus I only have this movie on VHS which I taped when this movie was playing on TV and it was then when I saw the scene of Arnold Schwarzenegger trying to buy a Turbo Man doll off Yeardley Smith (which was Turbo Man's partner Booster that Arnold Schwarzenegger wasn't aware of). Probably if you see the movie on DVD, the scene with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Yeardley Smith might not be on it either. However, if the DVD has "Deleted Scenes" in the "Special Features", maybe it will have the scene with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Yeardley Smith.

+dave4248 Yes, I now have this movie on DVD and I see the extended cuts. Not only does it have Howard riding home in the tow truck but, it also has the Santa singing a song to Howard called "The Little Boy That Santa Claus Forgot."
She was also excluded from the credits. So the people who made the DVD remastered version had to add her in at the very end of the movie.

I did not realize how versatile Arnold can be until I saw this movie, his portraying of a desperate father and desperate husband was simply superb. Also like The 6th Day, lost in identity crisis , really nice, powerful acting.
