He has beaten him in small matches but Waldner beat him in the European Championships, WTTTC 2000 and at the Olympics.
Reinaldo Pessoa Timo beat Waldner in European Championship Men's Team Final in 2002.
Mark Coen Yes, you are right. I meant the earlier game in 2000. After 2001, I think Waldner only played well in 2004 and 2006 at the international level.
I stand corrected, well like he said he couldn't predicted his forehand which is a necessary in table tennis.
I forget that he is already 36 years old 😅

Timo is a really great guy, i like his game alot! It is unfortunate that he has to face all those great chinese players, otherwise i would be rooting for him all the times. What i mean is he is my favorite player outside of all the chinese. He is soo genunine, he probable wont ever win a world tt championship single, and if he does and ends up beating a chinese i woulndt be soo mad. He deserves it even it is on the expense of beating one of my country men. Much respect to timo!!
