Yeah, their names were intentionally blocked by Ehrenfried and Altner to troll Lena.

It was great being able to watch this anime again with you guys. I think it's a classic as well - Something worth sharing and saving.
I still stand by what I said a long time ago, Ousama Ranking, is an anime you would really enjoy. Hope it wins your voting poll at some point.

1:50 egg shells, also Anju is shocked cuz it was "normal". Shin's food is usually bland af.

Theory: Fido might be the Nouzen family dog before the war at the 1st district.
Reason: Fido has memories of Shin, Rei and Rita (Annette) during younger days, also the Nouzen family has a Dog that has a Golden color.(Visible in the ep 9 of part 1 season 1)
My apologies for the bad english.
What makes me sad is it definitely feels like a top 5 anime but is advertised on the scale of a mid. So many people I feel have never even heard of it.
It's a solid 9/10 story with a 7/10 execution
More like new anime fans are so r3tarded nowadays, they need other ppls opinion so they can watch a certain anime.
Edit: I know immah sound so old but back in our 2000's anime days, we just watch any anime we saw, we just dive into any hole we saw and experience it ourselves.
@@RenderingUser Actually it could be the opposite as I've read that the anime adaptation actually added some additional scenes that wasn't in the LN, like the 7min of FIDO's flashback.

@@RenderingUser Nah, the execution is 10/10. All the hidden visual storytelling and visual metaphors in every episode are crazy. Directing and pacing is also really good, so I don't get, why the execution is only a 7

After watching 86 a second time, it kept bugging me how Fido remembered Shin as a kid. If you look back at one of the earlier episodes with Annette. There's a drawing she had of her playing with Shin and his family. Shin had a pet dog. That's why when Shin saw fido after that battle, he says so you're still alive and asked if he wanted to go home with him.

86 days from episode 21 to 22 and 23, they also went 86 days in the anime from the beginning of the episode Dec 24 to the end March 20th

It was a surprise to Lena because their names were redacted on the roster. They did it to surprise her. You need to read the books now. Theis is the end of book 3 and there are 12 books in English.

Everyone do yourself a favor and go watch “To The End” by Hashira’s Heart. It’s such a cool AMV that combines the last 2 episodes. I loved this finale so much. 86 is so emotional.

Waiting the 86 days for the final 2 episodes killed me as a weekly but was worth. Since season 2 wasnt announced almost instantly after the ending i suspect it will release after 2028 if not well.

Season 2* The team working on 86 is the same one working on Nier Automata cour 2, which will be releasing this July.
So, if we're lucky, a new season gets announced this year.
I loved 86 to bits, especially season 1, but season 2 had powerful moments and the ending was nice and warm and fuzzy. Have you guys watched re:zero? Odds are you’d love it just as much (if not more)
Contrary to belief, 86 has only 1 season. It's just split into 2 parts because of the time between the episodes! 🤓
