I live in the United States. Inflation is raging everywhere in the world. Most young families are struggling to earn enough to pay their bills. Many are falling behind. It is a sad situation all over the world. However, I am confident that things will improve in the future. Have hope. Wishing you and all the young people a better future in every part of the world.
This video is very relevant for Pakistanis. And kudos to your transparency. I am sure people will appreciate it. 🙌 I saw a tweet on X recently that some professor was saying that the quality of students in his last year batch and this year has been amazing. And the reason is primarily that the top-performers can no longer afford going abroad.
Thank you so much for your kind words! 🙏 It’s interesting how circumstances like affordability can shift the dynamics within our own educational institutions. I hadn’t come across that tweet, but it’s a powerful observation.
I feel ur pain even in india 🇮🇳 babe we have gone through same But im sure ur future is very bright bcz ur thought process is v clear what u want in life i wish u good luck
Inflation is increasing crazily. It’s insane to know that even 2 incomes are not enough now. Praying for all that it gets better ameen🥺 But I am glad to see you handling it positively and maturely🤩 Thanks for normalising this topic🥹
One suggestion I would give to young people in containing their costs is to grow their own basic vegetables in their homes. You can grow herbs and spices and certain vegetables like tomatoes at home in planters. It does not take a lot of work and it will save you on your food bills. Grow Dhanya, Mint, tomatoes, even ginger, peas, peppers, carrots etc. Savings on these can add up in the long run. You can also start a cooperative with your neighbors where you exchange home grown fruits and vegetables. We do that here in the US. We grow our own.
The staple food of Pakistan is probably bread and rice. North Indian and Pakistani cuisines are very much similar and i can imagine how worse it would be as an Indian. Also another factor is that they might don't even have enough time to do all that coz due to the financial crisis they might be working much harder and overtime.
ah, i can relate to that. Moved last year to Netherlands with my wife and a toddler. Bought my Peugeot 2008 new and had so sale right after 5 months to move, still miss every bit of it... had to part with my 2 lovely motorcycles too (sold the 250 adventure bike and 400cc inline 4 classic which I just couldnt sell for my mad love with the machine, left that with a friend). Life shifted totally in a few months, I ride trams and a e-step here and watch the same car pass me by 😅... but hey, atleast I managed to buy our own home here in Rotterdam in 1 year (given rents are crazy here so its not all that bad). You never know what the life unfold, thats the only thing I've learned. Adapting to the circumstances while still finding ways to be happy is the biggest strength in today's world.
Wow, it sounds like you've been through a lot of changes recently! It's impressive how you've adapted and managed to buy a home in Rotterdam despite the challenges. Life indeed has a way of unfolding in unexpected ways, and finding happiness in the midst of change is a valuable lesson. How have you been adjusting to life in the Netherlands overall?
In 2024 salaried class is mostly doing extensive budgeting. 1. Invest your car money in any mutual fund (halal ones). For example if you invest in money market fund you can earn 16-20% per year (based on your choice of fund). For simplified calculations: if you invest 100k you will get 20k profit with your capital as secure as a bank account. But much better return. 2. Convert your current account to Savings account (islamic banks only). 3. If you have around 20 lac, buy a shop or small house and rent it. It will generate atleast 5-7% per year ( it can go upto 10%). Plus your property values grows time. Don't invest in files or plots invest in house even if it is small in size. But should be rentable. Although you should try to limit your expenses and at same time try to increase the income
Thank you for sharing these valuable tips! Your suggestions for investing and managing finances are practical and can really make a difference. Mutual funds, especially those with halal options, can indeed offer impressive returns compared to traditional savings. Converting to a savings account and investing in property are also great ways to build wealth and secure your financial future. Do you have any additional tips for budgeting or other investment strategies that could be useful for the salaried class? It’d be interesting to hear more about how you balance increasing income with managing expenses. Thanks again for contributing to the conversation
Excellent stuff you post and talk about. My suggestion for Pakistani individuals is to focus on increasing their income by exploring diverse opportunities and investing time wisely. Saving is good but only saving can't serve the purpose nowadays. Given the constant inflation in Pakistan, it's crucial to find ways to boost income, whether through passive streams or skill-based ventures. This proactive approach can significantly help in navigating financial challenges and ensuring a more stable livelihood.
Thank you so much for your support! 🙌 I completely agree - in today’s economic climate, relying solely on savings isn't enough, especially with inflation on the rise. Exploring diverse income streams and upskilling are essential strategies. What areas do you think Pakistanis should focus on to build passive income or enhance their skills?
Start investing, consult a CA for professional advice, I mean if u r not already doing it! Cut down on monthly expenses as much as possible, ensure health insurance and create an emergency fund (worth 6 months of expenditure) and then invest the rest every month. Good personal finance management is most important at this time.
Thanks for the practical advice! Investing wisely, managing expenses, and having health insurance and an emergency fund are crucial steps for good personal finance management.
Good video. Thanks for sharing. Can you also make a more detailed coverage of inflation as a comparison between 2020 to 2024 with numbers showing on screen. In other words this would help viewers understand the real change over last few years. Food, rent, transport, energy, medical, other overall expenses. Lets say someone was spending basic 100,000 in 2020. Then how much would that be today? And how taxes have impacted also. Thanks
I am an Indian as I'm just here to give my observations. Actually the problems in Pakistan is mostly due to the mismanagement and instability of the government. If the world has inflation then its even worse in Pakistan. Due to it many Pakistani have come under poverty line to an extent of around 37%. Then it has 124 bil usd in debt. Also there's a big concern in Pakistan which isn't taken in account resulting in lossing of talent and educated individuals moving abroad and its serious coz its the future of the country and government doesn't seem to be doing anything about it as the literacy rate is a 55-58%. Lack of literacy and instability in government has costed Pakistan in a long run. And at such a moment Pakistani government makes themselves embarrassed by thinking of short term things like selling government business not drinking tea and all and clearly dont seem to have a vision for long term. A big problem is with pakistanis too as they don't do anything about the government and country and rarely someone speaks publicly that too mainly by Pakistanis in abroad like Harris Sultan, Junaid Akram against government or army and cares a lot too much about islamic ideology saying Pakistan was made in the name of Allah bruh no it was made by a white-washed muslim like Jinnah. You can find multiple people criticizing nehru in India but no one seems to be criticizing Jinnah coz maybe of literacy issue or people are not told about the reality. This is the reality of democracy in Pakistan where the people's vote is disrespected in the name of democracy. That's the difference between a democracy and a country trying to show itself as democracy but actually ruled by elites who don't wanna look irrelevant. Personally I don't like some Pakistanis showing off nowdays on insta that how so called developed Pakistan is. Coz it actually doesn't matter if common people can't afford anything at all. Thats like Ukrainians showing how much developed Ukraine is while a war is going on there. Such mentality is concerning. The Pakistan Experience is an good channel to show the Pakistani perspective and narrative. Shehzad is doing a great job! Anyways best of luck for you and your family and hope some miracle happens.
Thank you for sharing your detailed observations and insights. It’s clear that there are significant challenges facing Pakistan, from economic instability to governance issues and brain drain. I appreciate your well-wishes and hope for positive change as well. Thanks again for your input!
What was the business you had on insta, which was closed? I would say, try again. and inshAllah, it should be better than before. If you need help or advise, do let me know. I am and IT professional

In India a couple with 2 school going kids, Without rent can live in Rs 20,000 per month , which will include food , local trAvel, all household expenses, for comparison unskilled labour in India earns 500 per day , which translates to 20,000 per month, all i can wish is enjoy delicious fruits of partition
Thank you for sharing your perspective and providing a detailed comparison. It’s important to understand the different economic realities people face. Your insights are valuable in highlighting these contrasts. I appreciate you taking the time to contribute to the discussion.
