No idea why they can't make the US game snow for winter season. Red Dead does a total snow cover in the desert. It rains and thunderstorms why no snow.
The gatcha and stuff aside, Tencent believes much more in the franchise than Ubisoft. Massive is simply sitting on the game while eating Christmas cookies. Our game, as always, is just an endless limbo.
@HerbalistAce exactly, I think the same. I don't mind about micro transactions if they're priced reasonably and it's "anything that doesn't add benefits to the gameplay". I usually pay for some stuff here and there to help fund the games I like. I would even pay $10-15 bucks as a monthly subscription, even if it just added some skins and other useless stuff, considering they have constant content updates. I understand that a company also needs to pay for their electricity bills, but they also need to be reasonable with their players then it's a win-win.
Have you played wildlands..? Not all four seasons, but it’s got snow in one area jungles in another salt flats in one desert in another and so on. It’s really good old game
Back in the sixties and seventies, department stores had toy trains running on a track mounted to the interior walls. For the kindergarten aged children there was a small charge for the ride. It was a big deal.
They make excuses cause they get paid regardless. So if you get paid to do nothing, then why not do nothing instead of doing what your players/customers ask?
Reason why we have trains under xmas trees and everywhere else they can fit one, is because of travel. Xmas is the most busiest time of the year for travel.

I think its brilliant, not sure about the costumes though. Some look ok, some are just as you rightly said "basement creepy". So our division can have weather, they can give us god rolled gear, so why not snow!!! Surely it cant be gamebreaking coding, surely 🤷♂️🤦♂️

As long as Tencent won't make it pay to basically play like they do in china, then i wouldn't mind them taking over. We'd have stuff to do.
