Loved it when Smita ji said - you talk about brain drain, but those people going out are investing back in India one way or the other. Exactly what I commented on Ranveer’s podcast with Mr. Jaishankar. He kept on saying brain drain… that is not even relevant in this time and age. Get over this 20 years old philosophy 🙄

Still the intelligent and well qualified youngsters leaving India for opportunities will be a brain drain.. we need to build up better infrastructure to nurture the young minds so that they don’t leave though I understand where Jaishankar is coming from ..

Indian embassy people's without salary u have to continue the contract three years . Thank you for calling him out on the brain drain point Smita. I have seen Ranveer bring it up in several podcasts. His outlook diminishes the accomplishments of several NRIs. Indians today are on the global map because of several Indians who left home to make a home abroad. It is never an easy decision to leave home. People leave for various reasons. Some for better opportunities, some for better money and some because they simply have little choice. In some way or the other, they contribute to India and its image abroad (whether monetarily or not). They also have a role in bringing India on the map. To take something so nuanced and simply term it as brain drain and blame everyone who leaves like they are some "desh drohi" isn't correct.
Brain Drain is a reality. There are no benefits of it to India. Do understand one thing that NRI and India are 2 separate entities and concepts. Also, in international politics and powerplay, a country comes on map due to it's GDP (Economy), not because of how many young people of that country are running away to other countries.

- are we boasting about 5th largest economy? which is actually a testament of our backwardness.. UK, Japan, Taiwan, France and other western countries are no where close to our size nor our population.. and yet we are still behind some of them in numbers.. look at our Per capita income.. it is even backward from some of the African nations.. its like our 100 people are comparing with 2 people from another western nation and a country size not even 20%-30% to that of ours.. u call it development ?
- what have we really done ? our military might ? all we have done is to equate ourselves with Pakistan which is raised their stock and not ours.. with China we are like Bheegi billi.. just because we have our soldiers deployed in LAC does not mean we are ready for any contest with them .. And against who we are going to show our might ? Bhutan / Bangladesh / Maldives ? Countries see for what we are.. and that's why we don't have a single country in our neighborhood who trusts India when it comes to their own China threat.. because we believe in resolving situations with peace and economic measures and not rising up to the occasions.. why are we going to the talks with the Chinese without snatching their territory.. ? what such talks would lead do ? Countries see ...
- The countries who are today in the permanent seat of UNSC are the biggest disruptors or have shown their might at world stage either by themselves or collaborating with others.. not tried to be Vishwaguru with message of peace.. I'd rather be feared than loved.. if you try to get the love, you will never earn any respect.. Take it down in writing.. we can keep begging with "Vishwaguru and peace lover narrative" for this permanent seat in UNSC for next 2000 years and we will still not get it if we continue begging the way we are now.. China will never allow us to get in..
Unless we act savagely, break every rule of UNSC in which we have not been included in, we will always be seen as a follower of rules and world order.. not the maker of any rules.. we will need to rise up to China.. give nukes to Taiwan like they armed Pakistan, snatch their territory before any talks, forward posture our nukes; unless we show our might, no country (small or big) will not see us with respect.. or else u keep bashing Pakistan which is a non-sense state and they will keep rising their stocks because for them they are able to put us in check by directly taking us on..
- I keep hearing - " we are a functioning democracy.." we all know how clean is our democracy by the way.. it gets molested every day and raped by night.. that's another point.. what is this "democracy certificate" that we want to wear to show what to whom ? Has democracy helped us in any way which the Chinese communist party or Russia or any other Western nations not being able to do in their country's growth.. Please watch Aksai Chin area of China.. that area is now more developed and secured than our Delhi as well.. forget Beijing and Shanghai or Shenzhen to comparison.. we were silent and mute spectator when Khalistanis were tearing down Indian flag in the very heart of Delhi.. and u think they will not get the encouragement to do it elsewhere.. Caste System ... (Excerpt from message of Shri Datta Swami)
The Gita says ‘Chaturvarnam…’, i.e., the four castes are created based on their qualities and deeds. The Veda says ‘Brahmmanosya …’ i.e., the four castes are born from the four parts of the body of God. All of them are brothers as God is Father of all the human beings as the Gita says ‘Aham Beeja’. They are like present teaching community, doctor community etc., based on their talents and profession. Greatness is not by birth but by the work done as said ‘Janmana Jayate…’ Rama and Krishna are non-brahmins whose feet are washed by Brahmins today in temples. Ravana was a Brahmin and he did not have any temple. Does this not clearly show that Hinduism is not based on the caste?
The untouchability is also meaningless. Sabari and Kannappa (Hunter) are the so called untouchables, whose photos are present along with God in the house of every Hindu. Bhurisravasa belonging to the caste of Suuta (drivers of chariot) was the president of a sacrifice performed by sages (Refer Bhagavatam). The actual meaning of untouchability is forgotten. A very bad student is expelled from school for a change in him. Similarly very bad people were expelled from the village, expecting a change in them. This is the actual sense of untouchability.
It belongs to an individual. The son need not be untouchable. The son of Hiranya Kasipu (demon) Prahlada, need not be a demon. Prahlada was very pious. Datta came in the form of untouchable and preached Sankara, and Sankara fell on the feet of Datta, which proves that an individual is not untouchable.
Even if you argue that according to the ‘Gene theory’ a man of a particular caste is getting the qualities of all his ancestors and so caste is based on the birth. Even then you are finding good and bad qualities in all the castes. Can you show me a caste, which is completely good or bad? We must give the value to good qualities as in the case of Rama and Krishna and reject bad in the case of Ravana. Due to Rama the entire kshatriya caste is not good. Due to Ravana, the entire Brahmins are not bad. Analyse any individual independently and respect or discard him by his qualities and deeds and not by birth.
