Yes.... nice, nice...but in Gernany not available for more than 6 weeks even it was promised for 15th of December..., i am profi, i not Need big anouncements.... i need to work.... so i buyed Roland SPD SX, the original..... and i am happy
Question for you?? Have you had any issues with the Alesis Strike Pad after filling up the hard drive with your own samples? I have spent hours loading samples 10 at a time, then hours programming kits, only to find out that once its a bit over 20 gig on the hard drive I lost access to any internal sound factory or user. Can't access the library! So if I try and change a sample it will disappear and I will have no sound on that pad, very frustrating. Have you ever heard of this?? One guy at Alesis recreated the same issue but now no one in the company will talk to me and blame my samples. Everyone of those files plays 100% in Logic, Live & Pro Tools. Oh by the way Alesis was nice to start and have replaced the strike pad several times but won't admit fault with there hardware or software. I have recreated the exact same issue with all software versions 1.1, 1.2 & 1.3??? I would only recommend the Alesis Strike MultiPad to drummers who don't want to add that many samples to the device, they rate it 30 gig + the operating system LOL Once its about 20-22 gig on drive adding a sample is like rolling the dice, it may not function the same after loading samples. Other than that and the top bumper being a harder hit required than the regular pads it has promise if the fix their admitted hard drive access issue!!
how to change latency settings in alesis strike multipad?i am having latency issues.I mean i am getting quite late response. as i change from one preset file to another, its taking time.so how to fix that.and also tell me about the latency settings too
I’ve been interested in this piece of gear for quite some time now. I was just about to order an Alesis Strike MultiPad Percussion Pad but I need a very important question answered first. I know the Alesis Strike MultiPad Percussion Pad is capable of so much more, but I plan to use it only as a drum kit. I’m now in a situation where there is a physcial space and volume limitation. It would be great to just walk in with this pad, a stand, and a foot and hi hat controller. QUESTION: When the Alesis Strike MultiPad Percussion Pad is used as/like a drum kit, is the hi hat able to be played/controlled closed, half open and sloshy? Or is it just closed or fully open? Thank you!
Oh I don’t know. I just don’t get it. Finger pads allow access to other functions in real/live time but this has the same limitations as a drum kit. So I guess it is a drum set or kit add on. If someone could give a view to explain it, I’d appreciate it.
Too bad they left out some very important features: No quantize of loop recording. No tempo sync of sample loops, no tempo sync for effects, no phrase lock when playing multiple loops simultaneously. Works well for one-shot samples, but not if trying to run multiple loops at the same time. Too bad it's not more "live production" friendly. (Ableton in a box)
A step up from the old Roland Octapad I used to use. Very cool that it isn't just a controller.
I really wish people would demo more of the kits and sound that are built in.
Does it come with any of the Strike Pro drum kit sounds on board
Kere Amohau pretty much yes
can I ask what drum sticks are you using in the video? what size / model?

What kind of stand you using for it
can i use this with my kickpad and hihst pedal for live performance?
can you use a external Bass drum pedal/trigger (roland KT-10)?
Sweet!
Roland FD-9 Hi-Hat Control Pedal and
Roland KT-10 Kick Trigger Pedal are compatible to Alesis Strike Multipad?
Did you ever figure this out?

How do I add to roland vad 506?
7000 sounds? Which means it has 777 different channels / banks, is that correct?
You've got 7000 unassigned sounds (6gb of content) 30 preset kits 70 user kits for a total of 100 slots.
Most of the Strike Pad demos have been really lame.. What does the kits sound like? Sampling??

For me it's also about the feel and dynamic of playing with sticks. If that's what you mean
Morten O.T. Yes. Maybe. I’m just happy to listen to other opinions. Thanks for your reply

Still the case in 2024?
As far as I know that have been no more updates to this unit (?) Too bad as it seemed to have so much potential. @@nofood1
@@presentmomentmusic2023 I want to buy it to use with ableton, but if it’s so limited like egodeathbliss says then it’s not worth the price tag 😞
All demos same
Support hi hat controller??
Giannis Petrakidis yup
Didnt really show much???? Did you just want to see yourself on video..
