    fianlly a video where someone teaches the transitions, thank you so much!

    • @pranavphx
      @pranavphx 6 лет назад +7

      The transitions are just bass or you don't hear them at all cause the bass covers them up on the original track

    Perhaps the best lesson I have ever watched. The split up of the video parts, the pacing (and going back - "one more time" ), adding it up, and the explanatory narrative - must admit, I would watch all your lessons. Thanks for doing a really respectable job. Most awesome lesson.

    Man I think I finally got the hang of the first bass part, omg. So weird it was that part that made me stop practicing guitar since, it demotivated me but now I am starting to get the hang of it. I feel a new kind of energy through my veins. Every beginner out there just come back once in a while to this song, but don't make the same mistake as I did by trying to stick with it, and eventually getting so fed up with the fact that some parts aren't working out that you will quit. Just go for smaller fish in the pond!

    As you move forward, make sure to include the names of the notes and chords. Not only the notes each string plays openly. Your playing is great, keep going! It was a little difficult to play along without using typical, universal info. Rock on Bud!

    It's nice to know how to play the entire arpeggio on the guitar but I am well aware that there is a Guitar playing the main riff and the lower supporting part is played on bass. But it's still a cool technique to learn.

    Out of all the videos I've watched so far,you've got the best one up,props for adding the fill in's with hammer and pull off,and slide,just the parts I wanted to learn(incorporate).well I wan't to learn the whole thing of course.Thanks allot man,will follow this series, and for everyone else take your time , that's why he's going slow and explaining stuff, walk than run.he doesn't have the same tempo has the song so I strongly recommend learning a part , than blast the song and try to replicate and if you suck at it work on it, just don't give up.We need to keep real music alive for the love of guitar sake.

      @@maverickfoy4702 not less accurate - this version is incorporating the bass and guitar riffs together so this will sound better if you're playing solo but if you're playing with a band it would be better to play it like it is on the album - the simple guitar riff with your bassist doing the 'transitions'

    @sj8e if you start with something like this your setting yourself up for failure and despondency, try learning basic chords and rhythm patterns with maybe a couple of scales/ modes thrown in and build from there I would advise learning your basic open A B C D E F G chords in major and minor then the barre shapes first it takes years of practise to play like Jon fruisciente (which is the guitar player who wrote the original in case you weren't aware) but I'll say one thing practise practise prac

    I see how to do the hammer on now. He makes it seem like in his video that you have pull off, strum, press down and pluck the string hard, all at fast as you can. But what I found what has worked is pull off, strum and just tap the string hard and release.
