On Leaving

The little rhythm riff that the song opens on was written while watching "Leave The World Behind", so the title pays homage to that, although the song is a lot funkier that the movie was - though there is a certain post-punky tension to it. The main bass riff (simple, but insistent) is a sort of homage to Tina Weymouth's iconic bassline for Talking Heads "Psycho Killer", but the lead guitar has a kind of Television-y sound.
More importantly, the first song I've recorded with hand-claps!
