FOB Ghazni - Ghazni, Afghanistan / CH-46 Phrog. This FOB is along Highway 1 in Afghanistan that runs from Kabul to Kandahar, some refer to it as “Death Highway“. Always an interesting spot here. There were blackhawk and Apache helicopters here that day as well as a Columbia BV-107 (Phrog)

Damn, I was 18 when that was just a few concrete walls in 2004. We lost cherry and Beasley a few kilometers south of gun mount our first 3 weeks in country. I was the vehicle behind them. Tow platoon.
