Hi Rob, have you investigate possibility to repair with an estructural adhesive??, sometimes welding it's not the best solution due tempering metals could affect to strengh and shape. I kindly recommend visit LOCTITE website. Day by day bondering it's more common in OEM. Tenacity is an extra benefit in terms of vibrations and impact resistance. For Further information don't hesitate to cotact me I'll be glad to provide you with all assistance. BR and grettings from Spain.
Anybody notice that its a Ducati Corse V4RS WSBK swingarm!?!? 😍 Beautiful repair btw.
Great repair, Rob! Thank you for sharing.
The "back axle " you are refeering to is actually the swingarm pivot which bolts to the engine cases . The axle is at the other end :) NICE WORK Rob !
My bad i did say that incorrectly, thanks for watching brother

Fantastic work, do you have to heat treat it afterwards?
the repair looks nice, it's often hard to weld oddly shaped things like that.
Damn, great job!
I like it
