HI. Thinking of starting up in the inflatable business but getting put off as there are around thirty DJs and entertainers within a twenty mile radius of me all with bouncers yet I never see any castles out and about would you recommend me starting with a new small castle or would I be wasting my cash.

Hi there I wouldn't be put off by other company's as what you have to do is to give new customers something the others dont.i based my business on being different like having one of a kind bouncy castles and my DJ packages include bouncy castles as well.i have around 12 other company's in my area but they dont affect me at all.if your starting up,do it part time with your job as you can then have time to build up your business.the first year can be a challenge as your building a name and reputation,I've been going for around 10 years and after the first year, customers just came to me with not alot of advertising.if you stick it out a bit I will work.lots of people give up after 6 months.but it also depends on what you want out of it.
