This is Philippine Arena which has maximum capacity of 55,000. &Team is JPop. BTW, They got 2 awards there, Hot Trend Award and Best Artist Award. Thanks for appreciating their performance. Most of their songs, were written, composed and co produced by Pablo. He expressess his emotions, feelings and thoughts through writings songs and poems. During pandemic, he and his co members were stucked in one house due to lockdown. He asked each members, who they would want to thank for during this struggle and suggested that it should be the parents. He asked also every one what would they want to say to their parents. And thats how Pablo came up with the lyrics for MAPA. The ' Latara tara" was the lullaby his mother used to sing for him when he is taking a nap.
7 minutes you say? They did 17 minutes straight during their recent fanmeet and not a trace of fatigue whatsoever. And the mics are ON that the international celebrities probably are not used to esp. in an awards show. Esp. Stell who ate those vocals esp. his belts and adlibs while dancing heavily that kpop artists were just left scratching their heads and their jaws dropped. And as you've already heard in their songs GENTO and CRIMZONE, they put in hard work, blood, sweat, tears, and "ciento por ciento" (100%) to get to where they are now. This is their comeback stage after all that happened and SB19 lit the stage on fire. They won 2 awards so we are so proud of them, it is not just a performance. It is them making their mark in Asia. &Team is a pop group too, they performed in the show. They debuted last year.
Bringing up the biggest names like MJ, BSB, NSYNC...it says A LOT for our Mahalima boys. Thank you for appreciating, for actually understanding or noticing what they're doing whether from the vocals to the high energy performance to the genre and musicality of their songs. Being in a musically inclined family, I would understand that there are many Filipino families that have more than one member in the family who's musically inclined and that's also what makes us look like we're a culture full of people who are good in music. AndTeam is a JPOP group composed of japanese and koreans. Most of the attendees those who were sitted in the table are KPOP (STRAYKIDS etch) Thank you guys for this reaction. SB19 professionalism when it comes to their craft is way beyond amazing, their is no word to describe it. Even if they already perfected their choreo whenever they have performances they still work their butts off like theirs no tomorrow. Pablo is their bonified leader but make no mistakes Pablo is the type of leader who will not take all the credits to himself. He always includes his groupmates in each of their performances. He made sure that each of them got their own equal attention. That speaks volume of his personality and character. BTW Pablo is their main writer and lyricist. Stell is their choreographer. Justin is incharge of their MV's. Josh and Ken they helped Pablo in creating their lyrics of their songs. That AAA (Artist Asian Awards 2023) only shows how superb and excellent the SB19 is. Our boys love and support one another like when they pushed Stell to accept the coaching task in The Voice Generations Phils. He was hesitant but his brothers told him to get it. Ken recorded his solo song and he asked Stell to do some voicing for it and Stell gladly did it.
Our boys can really sing and dance like it's nothing. Their voices are stable esp. Stell. They always amaze fans in concerts. And you notice that the differences in their performances every time they do.❤❤❤

In the recent Fusion Festival 2023 where they performed last (at 2 AM, and to think they just came from another stint the night before stressed out with the SB19 trademark issue) among a dozen other Filipino artists, they went on performing their hearts out with Skouts (their backup dancers) even when the background music and the lights stopped amid their first number and they had to do the same perf thrice. ❤ Nary a thing can bring this group down: technical difficulties, looming lawsuit, fatigue, bashings, bad weather (they performed couple of times while it was raining). And they always sing with live vocals. They. Are.The.Real.Deal. Other pop idols should take a page out of SB19’s playbook.❤

❤️🔥‼️ This is the first time the Philippines has ever hosted AAA and it definitely added some much needed flavor to the usual visuals and musicality to the awarding ceremony PLUS it felt like Asia was united for one night. &Team is its own idol group under HYBE-the same label that handles BTS. Hence, for context to spectators, it’s a HUGE DEAL to see two idol groups from diff countries collaborate onstage! That doesn’t happen in this day and age especially among Korean idol groups from different labels to avoid fandom wars and the competition just being stiff and cut-throat there compared to the Western music industry. In saying that, having done this collaboration at the AAA really set the tone for the night. SB19 🇵🇭 opened the show showing unity alongside &TEAM which is under a South Korean 🇰🇷 label with Japanese & Taiwanese 🇯🇵🇹🇼 members. We didn’t only see our fave Korean groups who have already made such a big impact in the international scene, having amassed fans from all over the world give them a standing ovation for this surprise collaboration, but we finally have our moreno (brown-skinned) idol representation that is also very much a facet of Asia as a continent. SB19 has its own style and musicality that still resonates with Koreans & other countries. I keep bringing up South Korea, because you have to understand they have their own movement in the music scene. Their industry is much bigger than ours in PH. That doesn’t mean we don’t have our own pool of talent out here though too. It’s just that the SKor music labels have a wider reach globally. To give you a better gist, STRAY KIDS who stood up at 21:38 debuted in the same year as SB19 (March 2018 vs October 2018) and they have over 15M subscribers on RUclips alone and our very own SB19 which I am equally proud of has a fifth of that (at over 3million subs) since their debut. NewJeans at 11:00 , another S.Kor female group has 6million subscribers and they just debuted last year (2022) - four years after SB19. That disparity alone tells you that the audience they were performing for was no joke. The pressure was on to put the Philippines on the map in as far as the idol groups within Asia are concerned. Almost everybody knew everybody in that ceremony except for SB19. They were basically the new face for that celebrity crowd with Chinese, Japanese, Taiwanese, Korean artists, so they gotta bring it. And they delivered and raised our flag so proudly with that opening and with their celebrity idol guests too! To have their peers from South Korea where the industry is much bigger acknowledge them and give them a standing ovation is in itself a proud moment. They were probably seeing SB19 for the first time in their life and it makes me so proud to see them support a new face in the awards show. Needless to say, SB19 is in their “home court.” They gotta show what the other Asians were missing! As the host country, the boys represented us beyond the other Asians’ expectations. I can only imagine if the AAAs in the future would add the talents from Middle Eastern countries. Or Indians! They have their own big Bollywood industry out there, but just imagine. That would show more range among their peers in the industry-a true representation of what Asia Artist Awards stands for! The guys in the MV are the guys in red and black. They are called SKOUTS. SKOUTS are their regular dancers and Pablo in an interview does not refer to them as back up dancers but their fellow dancers. For sb19, they recognize the talent and effort of their fellow dancers who help give them some respite during their dances and help hype them up.

Btw, &Team is a JPop group they collabed with for the Gento performance. SB19 and &Team only met virtually weeks before and they were only able to rehearse together face-to-face the night before. Bringing up the biggest names like MJ, BSB, NSYNC...it says A LOT for our Mahalima boys. Thank you for appreciating, for actually understanding or noticing what they're doing whether from the vocals to the high energy performance to the genre and musicality of their songs. I hope they make it someday like the big names you mentioned. Being in a musically inclined family, I would understand that there are many Filipino families that have more than one member in the family who's musically inclined and that's also what makes us look like we're a culture full of people who are good in music. AndTeam is a JPOP group composed of japanese and koreans. Most of the attendees those who were sitted in the table are KPOP (STRAYKIDS etch) Thank you guys for this reaction. SB19 professionalism when it comes to their craft is way beyond amazing, their is no word to describe it. Even if they already perfected their choreo whenever they have performances they still work their butts off like theirs no tomorrow. Pablo is their bonified leader but make no mistakes Pablo is the type of leader who will not take all the credits to himself. He always includes his groupmates in each of their performances. He made sure that each of them got their own equal attention. That speaks volume of his personality and character.
BTW Pablo is their main writer and lyricist. Stell is their choreographer. Justin is incharge of their MV's. Josh and Ken they helped Pablo in creating their lyrics of their songs.

Our boys love and support one another like when they pushed Stell to accept the coaching task in The Voice Generations Phils. He was hesitant but his brothers told him to get it. Ken recorded his solo song and he asked Stell to do some voicing for it and Stell gladly did it.
Our boys can really sing and dance like it's nothing. Their voices are stable esp. Stell. They always amaze fans in concerts. And you notice that the differences in their performances every time they do.❤❤❤

In the recent Fusion Festival 2023 where they performed last (at 2 AM, and to think they just came from another stint the night before stressed out with the SB19 trademark issue) among a dozen other Filipino artists, they went on performing their hearts out with Skouts (their backup dancers) even when the background music and the lights stopped amid their first number and they had to do the same perf thrice. ❤ Nary a thing can bring this group down: technical difficulties, looming lawsuit, fatigue, bashings, bad weather (they performed couple of times while it was raining). And they always sing with live vocals. They. Are.The.Real.Deal. Other pop idols should take a page out of SB19’s playbook.❤

❤️🔥‼️ This is the first time the Philippines has ever hosted AAA and it definitely added some much needed flavor to the usual visuals and musicality to the awarding ceremony PLUS it felt like Asia was united for one night. &Team is its own idol group under HYBE-the same label that handles BTS.
Hence, for context to spectators, it’s a HUGE DEAL to see two idol groups from diff countries collaborate onstage! That doesn’t happen in this day and age especially among Korean idol groups from different labels to avoid fandom wars and the competition just being stiff and cut-throat there compared to the Western music industry. In saying that, having done this collaboration at the AAA really set the tone for the night. SB19 🇵🇭 opened the show showing unity alongside &TEAM which is under a South Korean 🇰🇷 label with Japanese & Taiwanese 🇯🇵🇹🇼 members.
We didn’t only see our fave Korean groups who have already made such a big impact in the international scene, having amassed fans from all over the world give them a standing ovation for this surprise collaboration, but we finally have our moreno (brown-skinned) idol representation that is also very much a facet of Asia as a continent. SB19 has its own style and musicality that still resonates with Koreans & other countries.
I keep bringing up South Korea, because you have to understand they have their own movement in the music scene. Their industry is much bigger than ours in PH. That doesn’t mean we don’t have our own pool of talent out here though too. It’s just that the SKor music labels have a wider reach globally.
To give you a better gist, STRAY KIDS who stood up at 21:38 debuted in the same year as SB19 (March 2018 vs October 2018) and they have over 15M subscribers on RUclips alone and our very own SB19 which I am equally proud of has a fifth of that (at over 3million subs) since their debut. NewJeans at 11:00 , another S.Kor female group has 6million subscribers and they just debuted last year (2022) - four years after SB19.
That disparity alone tells you that the audience they were performing for was no joke. The pressure was on to put the Philippines on the map in as far as the idol groups within Asia are concerned. Almost everybody knew everybody in that ceremony except for SB19. They were basically the new face for that celebrity crowd with Chinese, Japanese, Taiwanese, Korean artists, so they gotta bring it. And they delivered and raised our flag so proudly with that opening and with their celebrity idol guests too!
To have their peers from South Korea where the industry is much bigger acknowledge them and give them a standing ovation is in itself a proud moment. They were probably seeing SB19 for the first time in their life and it makes me so proud to see them support a new face in the awards show. Needless to say, SB19 is in their “home court.” They gotta show what the other Asians were missing! As the host country, the boys represented us beyond the other Asians’ expectations.
I can only imagine if the AAAs in the future would add the talents from Middle Eastern countries. Or Indians! They have their own big Bollywood industry out there, but just imagine. That would show more range among their peers in the industry-a true representation of what Asia Artist Awards stands for! Just really happy how Asians have come together outside of the usual venue like 🇰🇷 or 🇭🇰.

That is why they are very much on fire to perform at the biggest closed stadium in the Philippines, the Philippine Arena with a capacity of 55,000. You got it right guys. This performance by SB19 on the AAA stage will surely make a mark on the global scene, as it aligns with the group's vision and mission, especially Pablo's.
