I’ve been messing around with the settings for a week and I think I’ve got it fine tuned to my liking. Yesterday I discovered that the brightness control is also the backlight control. I was wondering about that because most other TVs have a separate control for backlight. If you want a lot more brightness, crank up the brightness. I know that sounds pretty obvious, but it really made a difference. The difference that I had been looking for for a week. I also have two U6H Hisense TVs that I’m pretty happy with. A 75 inch and a 65 inch. Low prices for such great TVs. That’s all for now. Happy Viewing!
Hello TellyDan Any noticeable difference between this and the Q60B model in terms of picture quality, sound, etc. Also is it only the livetv tab that plays in tiny screen when highlighted or it also other hdmis sources?
Hi irshaad sorry for the delayed reply, the sound is massively better on the q80 with a lot more depth and full range of sound. The backlighting I also superior, the hdmi source plays in the mini window as well
Wondering if in Canada what you get is different. I bought mine at Costco. I only got the smart remote with mine not the other remote. Not sure if its possible to buy it separately?
It’s a decent tv for a family room, we just bought the 75inch and Nothing is going to knock your socks off. Perfect tv for the kids to watch their shows and play games

Amazing! I hooked my series x to this 65” TV, also to my sound bar. The 120 hertz is amazing as well as the vibrant colors! I went from 60 hertz to 120, almost like a cheat code in COD.
It's the best TV I've used for gaming so far. The games look and move so beautifully that it's crazy. They also have a custom gaming menu to change your settings for the type of games you're playing "ie: RPG, FPS Etc...". I love it.
Trying to decide between a Q80B vs QN85B vs QN90B. The price difference between a Q80B and QN85B is pretty much nothing here in Australia. The lack of anti-glare on the QN85B could be an issue though. Tough decision.
Hi Dan I wanted to ask you should I remove the screen protector film on the q80b 65 inches? The technician said not to remove it as the screen on this model is too fragile, and removing the film could lead to scratches, finger prints and dust magnetism etc. But I feel the colors and contrast seem to suffer because of this film plus the reflection and the rainbow streak impression the screen film seem to bother me as well besides little wear and bubbles being formed on the corners of the film due to sticky additive slightly wearing off. So is he right of not removing the film so the panel remains safe? Or do you think I should and it will resolve contrast and reflection problems? Your help will be really appreciated
U can remove it, I did. But I live alone. So I never touch my screen with my greasy fingers. No reason to ever really touch the display set it and forget it. Now if u got kids in thr house. Maybe keep it on.
This tv is amazing! Even the sound from this tv! It literally has bass. And 2 port holes on the bottom of the TV to help with low end sound. I was amazed. But I have a very expensive setup so I don't use the TV sound. But the blacks are very dark great tv
Very nice in-depth demo w/ wall mounting option. I'm guessing one should hook it up to a sound system with wall mount because you are muffling the sound coming out the back. The price just dropped to $999 USD. I'm tempted to pull the trigger, but will hold off a few weeks in case it goes lower. Thank you.
Hi. Is this a VA panel or an IPS panel? There's a lot of differing opinions online but I think North America and Europe have different panel types so I'm not sure which one the Europe version is.
I buy this Q80B in France for 55 and 65* its IPS panel. I have the 55Q80B so IPS panel but il surprise the contrast is pretty good for IPS, for me this TV is Relay good but she have a verry Bad uniformity (DSE).
