Yeah haha, most youtuber for this gun cut the first part of collecting ball and just start with dragonbreath state to jack the dps up what they show is a burst dps not sustain dps. Also if they thermal tower have +30% blaze upgrade that also need to taken into account since you won't get that 30% in silo and monolith.

@@Wasibui keyword suffix mods for mask and helmet are only found in public crisis event boxes. Preferably the high risk ones as they are guaranteed to drop with at least 1 purple substat. However high risk public crisis events are only available in hard mode servers
You can also have a pure bingo fit since you can just swap boots which is what I'm doing. Gold bp rapid weakspot on shotty and purple rapid weakspot on sr and wildfire. First season with 6 star everything i cant fucking wait
Shrapnel is chilled af auto reload so for pve use the ar (socr I think) or the new lmg, just preference between them mostly, shotgun will get boring from experience

@@FiberOptikAssassin blue mods are most commonly found in gear crates. I have made a video for where to find them in Manibus Hard mode, but they re usually found in low lvl areas form the gear crates :)

I’m running crit with 40/170 rate and damage. Only mod I can’t get is the burn version for the weapon. Can’t get dummy above 35k a shot unbuffed. Is the blaze mod a huge difference?
Blaze mods do give a difference, but here what’s probably making the difference is your dmg bonus vs normale enemies. i stack that for dummy dps to simulate dps vs great ones/elites
This gun is mechanic like DE jaws, but instead crit rate it's weapon damage. So this gun have charge state when pick up yellow orb, when reloaded Its become dragon breath ammo turn blaze damage to attack or weapon damage, by that CR,CD,WS,EL applies. Correct me if i wrong. Then here the question its dragon ammo have a time or cooldown, is status damage affect dragon ammo, and which deviations the dino or the sun
Dragon breath ammo does not seem to have a timer on it, status % does not affect dragon ammo, sun for deviation (I use pyro because I don’t have a lvl 5 sun yet)
I used heavy calibration to increase the magazine size of the shotgun, as I have accidentally, bought the wrong set for it. but I still got 280kdps-320kdps (Using +crit rate against burn glove instead). I feel that, it might be much more stronger since the shotgun gets a longer up time on that damage buff before reload. Since.... well.. I think the buff does not expire until it reloads. I used fateful strike for this, no weakpoint damage but if I can get that amount of damage without the need to aim for weakspot, seems like a good deal to me. Doesnt pair well with the axe like the surge shotgun does though, since switching weapons, stowing it, or even climb any that requires 2 hand removes the buff on the shotgun.

Fateful strike, crit amplifier for gloves, and the one that gives you +20% weapon, status damage when hp is above 90%. everything else is blue mod cause... well, this game is weird in that lots of the gold mod is completely inferior to the blue mods we get. Have 1 bastille to get that extra 10% weapon damage. 3 falcons, 1 lone wolf for extra mag size, 1 glove that increase crit rate. and a heavy style calibration to get the 60% boost to magazine size, trust me, getting that magsize is important for keeping the buff from the particles up. Its a very easy transition if you are already one who goes full crit build, since this type of shotgun dont need weakspot damage anyway. Oh yeah, switch that mask mod for the +40% crit damage on burning enemy if you can. otherwise blue mod is just superior to anything else. Once your done with all that though, you can comfortably take your time getting the proper ones into the build. until then, enjoy the weapons you got.
@@phattjokergaming7827 When I do content where I’m up against great ones, all my mods are focused with great ones damage. When I do dummy dps to simulate on field dmg vs great ones/elites, my mods’ substats are focused on dmg bonus vs normal enemies
some interactive maps have all accessory locations already updated - been in the same position so i've used it to find them, gamingwithdaopa map have accs too from what i've checked just now (i used some chinese one, pain)
the chaosweavers are immune to the burn debuff from the shotgun but they still take blaze damage from the dragon breath ammo. The big problem is the massive damage drop off due to range that the shotgun has so you will barely do any dmg to the chaosweavers anyways since their weakspots are so high up in the air.
From what I understand, if you can consistently hit weakspots and the boss has one, weakspot will be better but Crit will be better if the boss doesn't have a weakspot or your can't consistently hit the weakspot. Personally I'm building for crit until I can get renegade to make weakspot
dude i don't think u understand that the % elemental buffs the dragons breath ammo dmg like your saying its negligible but with this weapon your going to be in dragon breath ammo 99% of the time so i think your wrong with the that statement its a dmg boost just like anything else
Haven't maxed out my set and calibrations but I think it's not good for hard or pro modes vs shrapnel . Getting good mods is total bs farming or even making ur own still gives you crap sub stats

The ele% kindof equilibrate with ur other stat, coming from 50% weapon features, 40%? Pyro or inv sun, and prairie burn inferno cradle, so I doubt any build who focuses even more on ele% does better

I second this, corro is realiable in dealing with enemies across a wide area, and its power surge can crit. While pyroclasm needs to be frequently near to the boss as possible

I haven’t been playing much sadly too test this new gun but pure status and psi doesn’t work correct? And if it does it only works for the Dino?
Status and psi aren't the main dmg source for this gun, but dino will still boost this gun s damage by a ton

Crit rate and weapon damage aren’t as useful as burn dmg multiplier given by fire rune boots

weakspot build will do more damage as logn as you consistently hit weakspots. But crit will do better if u don t. So depends on your performance

Crit pyroclasm has been hard nerfed, don't expect more than 50k on dummy in perfect condition, 10 to 20k in real conditions
