In the space of men's mental health promotion and suicide prevention, the Reducing Male Suicide (RMS) research cluster focuses on 3 research themes to expertly evaluate and treat men’s mental illnesses and suicidality.
Addressing men’s mental health inequities, Theme 1, aims to develop culturally safe and gender-specific community-based programs, considered key to reducing male suicide. Cluster members share a strong commitment to building and evaluating tailored suicide prevention interventions focused on addressing men’s mental health inequities. By sharing their expertise, the RMS Theme 1 sub-group will advance men’s mental health inequities work with a suite of tailored suicide prevention programs.
