It doesn't get any better. Planning at its best. I like that parks are incorporated into the design. The HOAs must be enormous because all of the lawns are so uniform - no way each individual homeowner is caring for it so perfectly.

There are zoning maps.....if you want to put up a fence...you would have to go to the town clerk and measure it out. But neighbors don't usually worry about fences unless you have a dog or a pool

The backyards of most of these houses are fenced so you can have a dog or children can play but the front yards are left open

I think this is north Charlotte, I’m born and raised here living in a 350k in Matthews nc(south Charlotte) and that place look more downtownish because how closed it is with the trees but if you want a yard and a huge house come to south Charlotte

Make no mistake, its the culture and the people that make it this way. I could turn this neighborhood into a place you’d go out of your way to avoid, simply by bringing in a few certain type of residents, and fast forwarding 10 years. It’s a shame because all of America could look like this, if only all the people had the right cultural aka civilized values. How many destroyed neighborhoods there are in America that looked like this to begin with, and then a few types of familes moved in, and all of a sudden, it became unlivable. Such a shame.
