- Riding a vintage twostroke jawa and yezdi is an entirely different feeling and In this video I share the whole riding experience and how it compares to other 2stroke motorcycles like the Yamaha RX100, RX135, etc. This is how I feel whenever I ride a Jawa or a Yezdi. I had been on a 1529kms solo ride on my dad's roadking just 2 months ago.. It was my first ever solo ride.. I must say it has been the best moments in life till date.. All I learnt was, these bikes might not be the best in terms of looks, speed, comfort( not even close😂) etc w.r.t modern ones.. but they never fail to make u feel better irrespective of how old they are...
I could feel the word 'feeling' every time u said it sir.. this video is absolutely a tribute to the legend

Can the roadking cruise at around 80-90 kmph?
It can cruise 80-90kmph all day long
It will tech around 130 with original piston
A 250cc 2 stroke motorcycle which produces ~ 24 Nm torque at just 4000 rpm, and weighs only as much as any 125cc these days! Thats the Yezdi. There's just nothing as unstressed like it. The current UCE Royal Enfields have similar torque specs but weigh nearly 60kgs more.

Ur taking me back to my old memories with my Yezdi roadking (1995 model) yes I did a huge mistake by selling it and miss it a lot.
The feel on any yezdi or jawa is a unique feeling and this was my all time favourite bike the roadking. Imagine mine was without the silencer core and I preferred it like that cos the raw sound is only without the core. If u tried going in a tunnel and raise the throttle the raw metal sound that goes tung tung tung is like music to ears. When u try passing by cars that have set alarm they tend to automatically start beeping like as if someone touched it and that's the power that activates these sensors in the cars this i mainly experienced in basements. The tech used for those bikes like the kicker and gear leaver are the same then comes the auto clutch especially when the cluth wire cuts u can use the leg to pull the gear lever and hold the cluth lever at the same time which eventually acts like neutral which none of the bikes ever have such tech nowadays or I haven't ever came across with any bikes so far. 2 strokes are anyday 2 strokes for their raw power delivery. Can keep going on an on about these beautiful machines but like u see in a exam hall will have to ask the teacher for more papers to write an essay .... btw nice review once again. I own a street triple rs and yet I love my d250 classic. Sometimes like you said, performance isint everything! You would want to go back in time and experience the old laid back groove of the 80s. Everything was great back then but now everyone owns cars & mopeds and its hard to find roads without traffic in the cities. Its these rare souls that enrich your soul...

Do make a video on how viable are JAWA Yezdis in modern day daily riding inside city & highway cruising (like what's the good speed to maintain, precautions to take.etc)

Also on the 2T oil, I have heard that JAWA Yezdis will sieze up with modern 2t oils like Shell/Motul 2T and will only run with normal gear oil.etc

What was the orginal carb provided by company for roadking is it jikov or Paco and which is best for power and mileage both bro
Hi Bhuvan, this roadking has jikov carburetor. Best is jikov but until it doesn give problems. Most common prob is shutter sound and shutter sizes.

Yes you can go for it. Mileage would be 25-35kmpl depending on the engine condition. Service cost also varies. Anywhere between 1-3k

Depends on the city. But anything between 45-80k is a great deal. Nowadays roadking is becoming expensive. Yes easy if the engine and chassis numbers are genuine.
