Ὃς ἐφανερώθη ἐν σαρκί,
ἐδικαιώθη ἐν πνεύματι,
ὤφθη ἀγγέλοις,
ἐκηρύχθη ἐν ἔθνεσιν,

I wish modern churches composed songs with this amount of grandure. It gets your mind into a real sense of awe. This is beautiful, and I'm sure that I'll be returning to this song again.
Pendragon It's about worship. That's what you are seeking. True and humble worship of our glorious Savior expressed in music.
Funny because this rendition is extremely modern
I was just thinking this would be better without music.
Jesus is the only way the truth and the life. He died on the cross and rose on the third day so that you may be forgiven of your sins. Turn from all sin and follow Him. You will be set free and have everlasting life in Heaven. Repent while you still can!

Gorgeous! Please revive the Western, modern church with true worship again! Get rid of these pop culture, feel good, coffeehouse churches where there is no Spirit anymore.
The modern pop Christian music is ok as it still has Christ inside it
You have to listen to the words in the song.

God does have a certain way he wants to be worshipped. In spirit and in truth. What that boils down to is who, and what, are your singing for? Do you sing for your own ears, because you like the music? Do you listen to feel good about something? This is not evil, or wrong outside of church, but is not worship. Worship is given entirely over to God alone and is tailored to be pleasant to him and him alone.
Grail Knight but who are you though to say modern pop worship isn’t sung for God, and that old hymns aren’t sung to please the ears as well? The Lord knows our hearts
@@erenjinchuriki When the Author of amazing grace wrote the song, He sang it to the lord. He didn't sell it on a record. It didn't need to be popular, or pleasing to the ear, or match any musical trends. It didn't need to be played in concert on a stage. It didn't even need to be sung in a church. It was written, and sung, as the heart cry of a single humble man to his God.
That is singing in Spirit and in Truth, It was for no-one but God. Many, not all, hymns are like that. All modern pop music is copyrighted, owned by record labels, and sold. That is not evil, its certainly a good thing. The Hallelujah chorus was commercially written, owned, and sold, performed in great concert halls, but I would not call that worship. I would call that good business. There is no shame in that, its not a sin.
I would not call it worship.
Maybe it can be used to worship, if the heart is right, and the soul is willing. I don't know but it sits unwell with me. You do what you are told of God to do. Pray and ask him. As for me, I do not see these songs as worship, and I choose to worship a different way.
YES YES YES! A million times, Amen!
1st Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of Godliness; God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the spirit, seen of Angels, preached unto the gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into Glory.
1st Timothy 3:16 sung to beautiful music! A Doctrinally rich hymn which it was my pleasure to listen to for the 1st time today. I often wondered what the earliest hymns of the Church sounded like, now I know. What a blessing.
I found this after discovering a few other ancient hymns in Church History class. This makes me want to drop to my knees fall on my face and cover myself before the Holy One, Jesus Christ, God/Man and Savior of the world.
God bless you good soul.
so beautiful hymn... praise d Lord

This is absolutely beautiful! I can feel the anointing of the Holy Spirit in it! It sounds like something from the throne room.
Well said. I agree! Every time I play this piece I can feel Him all around.
"Woe woe woe to those who hinder the Greatest Story of Redemption "
Beautiful.I listen to it every day since I found your channel.Thank you for this and God bless you
Wow actually teared up when the lyrics kicked in. I'm not even all tht religious but this touched my soul
The beauty of the music (modern) resonates with those beautiful (old) words. It seems that early Christians hiding out in those catacombs worshiping Christ were singing words like these. When they built churches later after persecution stopped, they built spaces that resonate. We associate choir sounds and resonating sounds with the 'spiritual realm'. There is something innate about all this. It is related, I believe, to the truth of the New Testament, those precious jewels of Light, those epistles, shinning in a dark place. Having thought about this does not make me 'religious', it just part of my journey. I'm a musician who kind of 'feels' history.
dang i wish my church would make music like this instead of trying to make "culturally correct" music.....the music we sing is way to "pop" and less heavenly. The Lord aint pop culture, hes the KING so my church needs to make music fit for a king. Anyways thanks for the upload, really great music.
+DavePlaysMMORPGs amen
it's more about the words, than the music :)
go to a different church.
You my friend are farther in the way Truth than you realize. Friendship with the world is adultery. David tried to make a new cart for the Ark. Read how it turned out.
This music would be totally strange to the writer of this hymn in 60AD. It's roughly a millennium and a half more modern!!! But i do agree that some modern songs are poor in scripture and spirit and they will disappear in time like they always do. Think about Fanny Crosby writing more than 8,000 hymns and gospel songs, how many do we remember?
2022 and I am here, I'm searching for something less noisy than the current music. I don't want to hear feel-good Christian music anymore. I want a taste of what the angels might sound like when singing in Heaven.
I cant stand modern worship
Praise our Father in heaven and great appreciation for Yeshua/Jesus ❤❤❤
This is amazing Radomir. The Holy Spirit comes upon me when I listen to this and I cry every time...even before I knew what the lyrics meant!
Absolutely beautiful. Thank you!
If you came here, you're definitely a classic and adventurous person! Not many in the world have this taste of music.
Beautiful piece of music, thank you Radomir.
WIsh you could set other powerful passages of Holy Scripture to such great music.
GOOD LORD!!! THAT WAS GORGEOUS!!! The musical setting was fabulous! My hat (if I wore one) is off to Mr Nowotarski. The Poles have a long cultural history of creating awesomely beautiful music. Listening to this song I learned a lot about the phonics of Koine (New Testament) Greek, which are quite different from the modern. Jesus is Lord!
The beginning was straight out of a beautiful mind
Truly lovely and powerful. More please!
Beautiful and moving. Wonderful to hear music that is worthy of the Lord.
I'm crying, this is simply the most beautiful thing I've ever heard. Thanks.
I love this, thank you for making this! Beautiful and ethereal.

So beautiful, worthy enough to be a traditional worship music, I really hope John Debney makes music like this in Passion of the Christ 2
Beautiful!
Wonderful! This is beautiful!
Thank you! I have memorized this tune and use it often as my morning prayer. This scripture is very deep, and your music captures and conveys it beautifully. I also love the soloist’s voice. Bless you all.
Glory to the Lord of Glory who took on flesh in the form of a servant and then died for us just as the scriptures prophicied! You are the God of Bethel! The Alpha and Omega! The Lord of Hosts!
Thank you. This is very helpful for our Greek Students. Praise be to God!
Christ is so good. Praise God. This is beautiful. My kind of praise and worship
Great work need more
Blessings and more blessings!!!!!! with gratitude, thank you so very much!!!!!!!!!!😃🙏🌹
so heavenly!
Really an amazing work...
Congratulations, this makes my go beyond worlds *-*

Thanks
When I hear this song I just imagine the disciples staring into the sky right after Jesus ascended and thinking, “wait did this really just happen? Did we really just spend the last 3.5 years of our life with God in the flesh? God actually became a baby grew up and chose us! And what purpose and adventure awaits us now??” You can just hear the awe and wonder of it all in this beautiful song
Beautiful.
Delightful!!!
Beautiful music

O God, What a wonderful hymn😢
I'm a cantor and I'd love to sing this at Mass; going to get the arrangement and try it out with my music director.
When the singing started, it sounded so beautiful, I feel like crying

I wanna speak Greek and Hebrew
Are you still offering? because I would like to learn to sing and write Greek worship songs
@Lorenzo M Sorry to ask again but are you still offering help?
@@malibaran7741 Sadly right now it's hard for me but I can help you find some way ;)
@@lorenzomurrone2430 Oh, no worries! Thank you for the reply though :)
How would you suggest learning ancient Greek and Hebrew?
@@malibaran7741 Well first of all what's your native language?
So nice to find this! I just finished composing Colossians 3:1-4, this night, using a model deciphering key for a cantilated Hebrew translation of Paul's letter, then setting the music to Paul's Greek (which os replete with rhymes!) If you want a copy, let me know, and I can link you to it or email. I'm slightly surprised that the style is not so different from your work here. What did you use as inspiration?

this composition reminds me of Jeremy Soule,John William and the singer kokia
It sure beats the head banger music our Lutheran Church started using! We walked out along with over half the others in the congregation. We are now Antiochian Orthodox Christians.
Why not just be a "Christian"?
Acts 11:26 "In Antioch they were first called Christians." Headquarters still on Straight Street mentioned in the Bible. Cannot beat the original Church for truth.

Does anyone know what kind of flutes are playing near the end?
Any idea if I can get sheet music for this song?

Is there any way to download or purchase this recording, so beautiful?

The God that is also always was. The names and faces and places change; the one thing that never changes, among all these things, is their creator, God.
is this was before the divided of the roman empire to eastern empire and western empire ?
Does anyone know if the pictures from this video are from an old manuscript? I can read ancient Greek and have read p.66 and p.75. This looks like a real manuscript from the way their shorten their sigmas like cs, the etas and nus are capitalized etc. Looks like an actual old manuscript.

Wonderful. Fascinating. I am surprised that the greek word "ethnicity/race" is equivalent to the word "nation" because a lot of bilical transaltion wrongfully traslate this word
