Im a Veteran Chaplain at the Veterans Home in Yount Ville California and have been watching daily for Two + years. Love the program, only one I watch. Have told most of the 800 vets we have here about the program. Keep up the good shows. Chaplain Mike
great video i like the way you through in some hummer in your narration it's great we all love seeing all of your videos it's a really great education thanks
All that rich black soil is beautiful. My mom tells a story of a friend from Virginia where the dirt is red clay. When she came to Indiana, she thought the fields were “burnt” because so black
Great Drilling Millet video. Liked the high view with the drone of the drill planting. On the drone footage it almost looked like you didn't raise the drill on turning but I think it was just the view. It's amazing that the rock didn't do damage to the drill when it got stuck. Glad you were able to break it loose.
It must have been the angle, plus its only the toolbar that lifts up the wheels are fixed in that position, this drill is different than most. Thanks for the comment!
I have watched another video of yours where you were sowing sorghum Sudan and also mentioned Grain Sorghum. I think you said recommended was 15” row on the sorghum Sudan. I drilled at 7.5” here in TN and done really great. The same year I planted grain sorghum for seed on 30” rows. Recommended was 15”. I got lucky and had a good crop, 80 bushel per acre. I think the spacing is what kind of equipment you got as long as you keep the population consistent. Love your channel!
I stopped watching after that comment. Not funny! I was watching this with my son. As a Christian father this is not something I want him to see and hear.
Great video we have taken on extra 500acres of winter wheat at a price that is unreal we can afford to put 2 our N. H Cr8080 in. I love seeing 2 machines in one field.
Listening to the Crustbuster gut explain the drill I’m not surprised there were problems. Dang things so complicated. But looked like you pulled it off. A year ago. Nice 🍌 edit! 😂
my family plants winter wheat as a cover cop then we plant double crop soybeans here in michigan but the timing has to be just right to be able to harvest the beans before the snow.
What would you charge for an end dump load of this in 2024? Next question would be how much can you produce? How many yield per year can you get in Indiana?
Hello there Is it proso millet? And how you did the fertilization, please? it´s a new crop for me. Would you mind to make some video about it developing? And thanks for the great video. You know how to make it soft and enjoyable.
This is German Millet. We didn't fertilize it because we don't think that the extra bales are worth the inputs, especially when we will have more than enough hay and the market price for hay will be low to to the excess amount of available forage in the area.
How do you like this crust buster drill looking to buy one to plant cover crops an beans from now on have read some negative reviews about getting depth right an see in your videos you've had some issues as well
It is just hard getting used to like most new equipment but the beans I drilled have a good stand. I think you would be happy with the drill and it is less expensive than other big name brands
Drilling is the act of using a drill to put seed into the ground. The machine hooked up to the tractor is what we call a drill, I have noticed not all people call this machine a drill, but in our area we call it a drill.

Your fix would get along good at our place. Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Nice videos 👍🏼
I think we will leave it like that for the rest of millet planting and then try to fix it later
Ya especially if you don’t have time to fix it
I actually live northeast of pierre

1:47...mother of God...I wasn't the first to be making these jokes on this channel...it was you all along, Cole-son.
It's good to see there are young and optimistic, hard working farmers who are making good videos, compared to some old, (lonely) and grumpy ones.
Glad to hear!
Your banana looked moist and fancy! 👍
Great video drone vid was sweet
...”that’s what she said” ha.
Great upload. Enjoyed it ... thx!
Thanks!

Alot of trial an error in the beginning I get it thanks for the reply!!
How’d last nights storm hit you guys? We got a bunch of wind and some hail up by wtn
We actually didnt get anything last night!
Great framing
How many acres do u guys work/own? Do u have time to hunt your property?
How many acres is your farm?
How come we don't see much of your brother here lately.
They both are busy and we somewhat try to keep distance because of covid
Do you grow most of your feed for the cattle?
all of it
👍👏👏👏
How many acres do y’all work
Is that the tractor you replaced with the 8R?
It sure it
Sonne Farms I can see why you wanted a bigger tractor on that drill. The front of that tractor looked light when you were turning.
I dunno Cole. You might get a wider audience if you didn't censor the banana.
Do you ever deer hunt your fields
yes
@@SonneFarms can you maybe do a video on that?
First coment ya
Have you ever been to Platte sd
Yea, I've been to many towns in South Dakota because of various sports throughout highschool
Ok I play mount Vernon youth area football and I’m gonna again this year
😉🐝
what do you mean when you say i'm going to drill
Drilling is the act of using a drill to put seed into the ground. The machine hooked up to the tractor is what we call a drill, I have noticed not all people call this machine a drill, but in our area we call it a drill.
