Great work so far. As far as the raised pin marks inside the fuselage. I use a rotary tool with a very small grinding tip. Just be gentle. With practice it takes no time at all. A light bit of Extra Thin will remove the tiny burr marks and leave everything smooth. Primer will level it out beautifully.
Fantastic work mukka....sounds like the lass is being a bit of a pain in the tailpipe and puts up fight! Looking forward to see next video! Pour yourself a large pint or whiskey, you've deserved it! 🍻🥃
Come on, that is a great modelers model. Think how good you will feel when you put a great kit on the shelf...Keep on keepin' on my friend., Regards, Solomon
Great video, as usual Shane. I feel your pain with the build. I have had some serious heartache with aircraft and ships, but drive on Shane. I am sure your build will look amazing, as all your work on your videos do.
thanks Micheal ! its an immense kit and will be pride of place of my collection once finished, its a bit fiddly and little dodgy in place but I think I will be able to get around them :)
thanks Paul, it next to the Dragon Wagon are the largest kits I have, but this glider is so imposing, but I am so looking forward to seeing it all together !
haha we shall see if the fever takes hold I a few aircraft in the stash that I've been meaning to build. thanks for the info !didn't really think of it at the time when I was putting them together :)
Hi Roger, in answer to your question I prime all my figures with grey primer before painting, and I do seal with matt at the end as the vallejo paints and weathering pigments can be quite fragile and be worn off with handling if not sealed hope this helps Shane
Shane ..firstly Thank You for taking the time to produce these excellent videos but may I ask a question please ? Can You please explain the different adhesives You use & the names also the putty ? I am a novice modeller & am finding this somewhat the various products & their uses somewhat confusing ..Best wishes, Steve ...I realise You cover this in the videos but I am very hard of hearing & often miss things ?
Not to worry at all Stephen! So the glues I use in my builds are Tamiya Extra Thin, this allows for very refined glue application and drys very quick. For slower setting glue and areas where I do not need to be very precise I use Revell Contacta. For Superglue I use cheap liquid CA glue from the discount store and Gorilla Gel type CA glue for stronger joins. For putty I use Prefect Plastic Putty which is the same as Vallejo Putty; this an acrylic putty which be thinned with water hope this helps
Great couple of vids there Shane. I like your style both of building as well as putting videos together. How did this one turn out? I can't find Part 3 yet & am fearful that Bronco might have gotten the better of you. I REALLY hope to be proven wrong here :) Thanks for sharing
@@longlance67 I could see that from the videos & believe me, as the 2 videos progress, we really can feel your pain a bit there too. You'll know when you're ready though but when you get the bit between the teeth to get back into it, you know there's several on here that are rooting for Team Shane. The Bronco will NOT win. We're ready when you are but in YOUR own time mate. That's what matters :) (P.S. I'm only just getting back into building so the techniques you use are REALLY helpful to old eyes here. Thanks for that, as not everyone is great at getting their message across on camera. You have a good handle on that for sure)
thanks Dave for your support, this kit has been a bit of journey of woes for me as has my ongoing FURY build, I have hoping to get energy back for this kit again soon but as you said I have wait for that enthusiasm to return naturally or it will ruin me
Nice work Shane. Still can't get over the size of this kit.
thanks Mark ! its a very imposing kit and its size is a challenge when it comes to finding ways to display it

Nice Videobuild as always. Look forward to get one.

A great vid Shane, looking forward to the next part.

its a modelers model to be true but there is some elements are just poor engineering but it will look great once done, no doubt there
Great video, as usual Shane. I feel your pain with the build. I have had some serious heartache with aircraft and ships, but drive on Shane. I am sure your build will look amazing, as all your work on your videos do.
thank you for the very kind words and support Bradley ! hopefully the build will meet our expectations
Great job Shane!Keep up the good work!
thanks my friend :)
Great start my friend.its bloody huge looking forward to see what you make of this 1 take care buddy
its quite the monster of a kit, but it should shape up into a lovely kit once all built up :)
impressive and ambitious project there shane :) sorry to hear that it is fiddly in places. you will make it eventually :)
thanks Micheal ! its an immense kit and will be pride of place of my collection once finished, its a bit fiddly and little dodgy in place but I think I will be able to get around them :)
Use a small set square for alignment, I find a home made 90 degree set square very useful.
Great tip, will make alignment far easier
Shane that is some kit' and I can see the issues your having, but I'm sure you will pull it all together.
thanks Paul, it next to the Dragon Wagon are the largest kits I have, but this glider is so imposing, but I am so looking forward to seeing it all together !
Shane, be careful. You could get bit by the aero-plane bug!
FYI, the yokes are connected, and so should be turned exactly the same.
haha we shall see if the fever takes hold I a few aircraft in the stash that I've been meaning to build. thanks for the info !didn't really think of it at the time when I was putting them together :)
Sorry I got a question about your 1:35 German "Wehrmacht" figures. Do you seal them with matt/clear Varnish? And do you prime them before painting?
Hi Roger, in answer to your question I prime all my figures with grey primer before painting, and I do seal with matt at the end as the vallejo paints and weathering pigments can be quite fragile and be worn off with handling if not sealed
hope this helps
Shane
Helps me verry much thanks ! And really nice work you are doing!
